The creators are always good about writing a nice story line for these games and I have played almost all of them. I am always looking forward to Game House games. These games keep my brain busy, even if it seem repetitious. I take time out from the real world and don't think about stuff when I play these games.
I like this game a lot, funny how the prison parts reminded me of "Orange is the New Black" show lol! At least they weren't selling used underwear in the game like the show LOL
Fun little games. Keeps the mind busy :)
I recommend this game!

Reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is obviously the graphics in the game are really not great. Pretty much looks like someone created this on the art program that comes with your computer. HOWEVER! The story line was really interesting and very well thought out. I think it was a good idea and I feel that it has more potential to be a great game. You don't have any hints to help you, yes seriously. I actually preferred it without the hints being available because it makes you use your brain!! Puts you in scenarios that you question.. "What the heck would I use this for?......Ohhhhhh" haha!
You will use your mouse only through this game. (Like most, I know) but heads up on that. I play my games on my MacBook Air, when you go to play the game a screen comes up and asks what size and resolution you would like to play on. I played the biggest screen and at best settings. Though I hid my tool bar, it kept wanting to pop up every time I needed to click on something in my inventory.
I enjoyed the game. I would recommend it just for the experience to try out something new. Don't get your heart broken over the graphics though, I know we all get spoiled nowadays with crazy realisticness graphics.
Cathy is chasing the dreams of others instead of her own. But once she discovers her passion, her strength will be put to the test. Will Cathy stay true to herself?
Don't judge harshly because you love the Emily games!

Keep in mind when you play this that the creators are trying to get you into a new character with a different scenario/ story. You will play this just as you loved to play all of the Delicious Emily games. I find this a bit more challenging and thank god for a new story!!!! I can't do anymore spinoffs on Emily and her sister. WE GET IT! I was thinking they were going to have a sequel for every dang character. Now this is REFRESHING and DIFFERENT. Yessss, the writing is sometimes cheesy. So what. Makes me cheerful and happy and I like to play games like this that make my relaxing days lazy and happy :)
The game play is like of it's sister game (Emily). Only a different story line than the same ol' characters used time and time again. (You can't expect a author that writes novel/book/comic to write about the same thing year after year, that would be boring!!!)
The Story: It's about a young girl named Cathy that helps her parents in their shop. She's a talented young, frightened but inspired young woman who's friends and boyfriend try helping her make her dreams come true.
Cheers!!! **drinks coffee** 5 stars to the creators for trying something new!!!
I recommend this game!

I have enjoyed every Delicious Emily game!
In this game, Paige is sick with a rare illness and the doctors just can't figure out what is wrong with her. With Grandfather's journal, Patrick courageously travels into the freezing Alaska with hope to find a rare flower that will cure his daughter's illness. You will get to play as Emily, Emily's mother, Patrick, and a Monk; who helps Patrick in his journey.
If you have ever played any of these time management games, this is the one that will keep you busy for a while.

Such a different game! FINALLY! There's more imagination in this that most of these games that just keep using Vampires or Detective work.
THIS GAME: You will have to use wit to combine objects and figure out what goes with what. Use you're own imagination and try to think like the creators did! I give this game 4 stars because some conversations that you will have with other characters are either too long or pointless. Depends how you take it during game play. I also had found a bug apparently in the beginning. Was supposed to talk to the lady with the baby, for some reason I never had the option to get her to tell me about the baby needing something. I had to start all over and had to use a walkthrough to help me get through the specific part to help push through the storyline. Other than that, very well done! I would love if the creators came up with another one!

I really enjoyed this game all the way through. The only thing I wished this game had was a map to get around faster... but other than that, the game play was nice and long. The bonus game had a nice length of game play too, which surprised me and had me liking that the story wasn't really "over" yet. It helped to have the objects in your inventory glow a light purple, letting you know that this item was to be used for whatever you were supposed to attach it to. The puzzles aren't too hard to figure out. Good stuff! =)

Note: LOTS AND LOTS OF READING MY FRIENDS!!!
Negatives First!: Only thing I did not like was waiting on certain parts of watching Holmes and Watson leaving the area you were in, it had nothing to do with anything. The sense of direction of you were you walk or "run", should have been worked on as well. It was difficult and a bit sloppy trying to find where to walk on the "hot spots".
Positives: The overall game was good. I have to give it 5 stars for it was a challenge and entertaining to find items and match them with questions you end up answering in quizzes. The ending, they show you the results and explanations of when, where, what and the whys, making it conclusive to your findings; satisfiable to patting yourself on the back when Holmes gives a educational, witty result.
I recommend this game!

This games was really fun to play, though I will be honest to say I had to use a walkthrough for some parts. =^_^= You really have to look up and down in this game to find clues. There's so much to do and in different locations. It was well thought out and a very enjoyable game to play. (Hope to see it not so "boxy" though next time) Good length of play time ;) Kudos to the creators!
I have to give this one 5 stars! The storyline was pretty spectacular and different than other games. I really appreciate the art in this game, as well as all the hidden picture and puzzles. They really did a great job on this. It's a nice lengthy game and is worth the money =) I enjoyed it so much!
