I have played for an hour and am really enjoying this one. Engaging storyline even though they did borrow from "The Terminator" a bit. Puzzles are easy to medium hard. HOPs are very good and actually require a bit of thought rather than the standard click, click, click. Though the visual quality was good, I rated it 5 stars for the sound. Particularly impressed with the lip sync during conversations. The characters actually appear to be speaking the words. Definitely a buy.
Dr. Doolittle goes to India. Another kiddy game with talking animals. Graphics and sound are good but that's about all. What happened to the more adult type games like the Phantasmat series?
The visual/sound quality was excellent. HOP's and puzzles were challenging. The beginning of the game was great. After that the wheels fell off the wagon. Past the beginning of the game it started to get stale fast with the exception of the puzzles and HOP's. Chapter 1 is in a castle with 3-4 rooms where you just go back and forth and forth and back picking up this and doing that. Subsequent chapters are more of the same. If not for the initial part of the game and HOP's/puzzles, I wouldn't recommend. Definitely no where close to original "The 13th Skull".
I found the storyline to be engaging although the octopus princess was a bit off. Characters were interesting and the voice acting was spot on. The HOPs and collectibles in particular were very challenging. I thought it was a good game and a solid 4.
I have enjoyed this series for several years now. The best thing about this game is that it definitely answers the "Which is worst Haunted Hotel game?" question. I struggled with boredom just to complete the demo.
OK Game. Not a CE, glad I opted out of purchasing the CE and used a coupon to purchase this edition. This is the worst in the series but still OK. Game is quite short. HOP's are moderately difficult with no nice twists and puzzles are easy to medium difficulty. Mamas and Papas soundtrack would have been nice.
