This is STRICTLY a HO marathon and they don't apologize for that. It has several different HO modes: riddle, differences in scenes, find 10, a hangman game, combine objects, silhouette, list, etc. You spin to find out which game you will get for the scene. The object is to play enough games to free some hostages from the bad guy. It wasn't too long a game, but there is extended play at the end that allows you to go back to each scene to play the games that you didn't get to do the first time. Highly recommended for hard core HO lovers; a mild thumbs up for me.
This game was a solid 4, maybe 4.5. The HO/interactive scenes were not too hard, but not the easiest I've done, either. The puzzles, too, were a medium challenge. Voice acting very good and loved the storyline. Not very long or hard to complete, but a pleasant game overall.
This was an easy, easy game! There were some complaints because of no hints. I played the whole game on the higher lever w/o any walkthru help and it was pretty straightforward except for the final puzzle which I had to look up what the game was going for. HO scenes were easy and what-to-do-next puzzles were very linear and kinda' dragged you to the next clue. The end was fine. This was a relatively pleasant game with not a lot of brain power expended. Because of its simplicity, it is over pretty quickly. I give it a very mild thumbs up.
This is a fantastic M3 game! The story line is great and often brings in the next board type - standard, light fire, cave-in, etc. Also enjoyed the leveling up each character, their ability increasing, and their continuing journals about the trip and other characters. I took each character up until they were all maxed out, then mostly used Ali and Tanya. I have finished the game in normal mode where the highest rating you can get is 4 stars. It is nice and long when you play all the characters. I'm now doing it again in Master mode and going back to get all 5 stars. GREAT GAME!
I DID like this game for the most part. The story line was really good and the end was satisfying. The graphics were okay and don't listen to the game music, so can't comment on that. The HO scenes were very easy for the most part. The puzzles were, also, except a few towards the end that I eventually skipped because I knew I was toward the end and too anxious to keep messing with them 'cuz I wanted to finish. The game was pretty short, but it got pretty tedious about 2/3 of the way through. Just find a locked something, find the key, usually in the next room or puzzle, and run back and open it. I was ready to be done. But I'd give it a mild thumbs up, mostly because I liked the music theme and story a lot.
Just finished this and was happy with a satisfying ending; some of the ones I've been playing lately haven't been so good. There is a lot of running back and forth, but I didn't seem to mind it as much as in some other games. There was always another room opening up to explore. The HO scenes were relatively easy except for a couple items in very dark corners. There were some unique puzzles which, again, were pretty straightforward and not too hard. It didn't take me long to finish but, because of the running around I guess, it seemed a little longer than some. Don't listen to music, so can't comment on that. Graphics not stellar but okay. All in all, I thought it was a pretty good game. Worth recommending.
As others have said, this game is pretty short. That being said, the graphics are great. Character dialog funny. End satisfying. The HO scenes were easy but there were some fun moments when you had to combine two objects to get the one required. I played on Expert but it was still wasn't too hard. Just no sparkles pretty much and some difference on the puzzles. The puzzles were different than many other games and that was refreshing. A couple of them were kinda' hard at the beginning and I had to look them up, All in all I enjoyed this a lot!
I played in "Hard" mode so there were no hints or sparkles, which I like. Even in that mode, though, there was only one time that I had to resort to the walkthru and that was because I was almost at the end and wandering around aimlessly! The graphics are strong and the HO scenes pretty straightforward and not too hard. I liked collecting the various parts of the characters' story lines before you could get their whole backstory. The puzzles had instructions and, tho' you couldn't skip, they weren't too hard, either. The ending was satisfying, although I would have liked them to SHOW the epilogue rather than just giving a text version. All in all, I really enjoyed this game.
Being based on EA Poe makes for a great storyline, so this is a VERY compelling and satisfying game in that regard.. The HO scenes were pretty forthright for finding stuff, but I liked the items that required an extra step. Not quite as simple as most so, even though you might be able to pick up an item, it required a little thought as to how to use it. There wasn't a LOT of running back and forth, but I did miss a HO scene and had to use the walkthru to figure out where the wrench was that I needed right at the end. The SE was relatively short, but it was a good enough game that I was anxious to get through each step just to go on to the next. Will definitely recommend!
I recommend this game!

Unlike some slots which are boooorrring, this has LOTS of action and gameplay as a role playing slot. Even better than some strictly RPG's that I've played! Great creatures to battle and good story line and graphics. I enjoyed the challenges received at the various locations. Good replayability. Would highly recommend if you are an RPG fan. Slot lovers might want to check out the demo first as it is a little more challenging than a straight slot.
