PBN is my fav. painting game, but this #7 is the worst ever!! The colors are so 70s and muddy. I don't ever want to "play" with such ugly colors again.

I wish it were a bit easier to find the cats and everything, but it's my old eyes at fault there. The thing I'm really unhappy about is I have no clue how to play the bonus chapters. I don't know if I should be looking for cats or what?
I have enjoyed these FM games and own all of them but the earliest single color ones. My enjoyment went shooting up when the scenes became interactive. I have enjoyed all the mini-games. So I am a fan.
However, this FM 47 has been a big disappointment! The puzzles became too easy. This is the 1st time I couldn't complete a number of the mini-games. The interactive scenes became less interactive. The climax of the whole game ended with lifeless vases in a fairly lifeless throne room. It seems like the developers totally ran out of steam before they finished the game.

I enjoyed playing the 1st time through. But I couldn't believe how short it was. I was hoping there would be more. But no. I was hoping there would be a change-up on a 2nd play through. But no. -- It isn't as much fun.
This game might be fun, I don't know. I only played 10 mins because the numbers were so hard to read. I had fun choosing my character but I have no idea what happens after that. I didn't see any story or explanations. I might have stuck it out longer if I knew the premise of the game.
but I don't. There are wonderful power-ups but if you use one, a star is deducted. You have to have like 6 3-star puzzles to move on to the next level. So you earn power-ups but if you use them you get penalized. I feel mad about this. I am not getting this game.
I really liked this game, so much fun! A little to much talking. But very stressful on my old eyes. I would have bought this game if it had been kinder to my eyes.

These puzzles work just like word logic problems. You work with deductive and inductive reasoning -- knowing what you know and then figuring out the gaps in what you know which is not the same as guessing because guessing does not use logic or reasoning. This is a harder game than Asian Riddles 1 because you don't get all of your hints right off the bat.
I don't think this game is "fun" like a lot of others but it is satisfying to finish with three stars. It makes me feel like my brain is still working.
One of the first games I bought was Charm Tale so now you know about me. I was thrilled when I found Pini. I love this game but it is so frustrating! There is suppose to be help in your "field journal", mine isn't working well. I occasionally delete and reload the game and occasionally I will find new info. of the kind in the journal I was looking for.
As for the story, I jettisoned that after the 1st couple of levels. The illustrations seem dusty. I don't understand how to play most of the mini games. But I love trying to beat the clock on the relaxed level. Yes, there is a clock on the relaxed level. When I beat the game I'll post back here. I'm expecting it to take months.
