there is a custom level and the hint system does what an interactive map would do. you are trying to solve the mystery of the ghosts that inhabit the hotel. it involves 2 brothers and the father and the fight over who will run the hotel after the father's death. you find out why 3 teens have been terrorized by the hotel's ghosts. they got lost in the forest and took "refuge" in the hotel. i had to skip most of the mini games. i didn't have too much trouble with the HO scenes but some were harder than others because of the darkness of the scenes. another sequel? i figure there will be.
I recommend this game!

there is a custom level and an interactive map but the hint system does a good job of taking you where you need to go as well. you have been called in to help the locals solve the mystery at the gold mine. you are not welcomed too much by the local sheriff when you get there. he was not happy that others felt he couldn't solve this. the mine closed unexpectedly putting many miners out of work. you investigate why the mine has been closed and report to the mayor to let her know that you are there. i had to skip most of the mini games. most were logic-type and i can't do them. the HO scenes were pretty good, though. will there be a sequel? this is a series that has gone on for a while so i would say yes.
I recommend this game!

a woman was taken and believed to be dead even though Dorian is still looking for her or get answers. there is a custom level and an interative map. the evil rosetta is stealing people and taken them into the past and you have to switch between past and present to finish the game. i had to consult the walkthrough once to get through the game and i played on custom with a quick hint but i still had to look through the walkthrough. i seldom have to do that anymore. a sequel? i feel sure!!!

there is a custom level and interactive map or use the hint system. i really enjoyed this game. it was based on the 4 suits of cards. you, alice, are taken while jogging and wake up in shadowland. the queen of hearts is taking people's shadows and then you are stuck in shadowland. you have to find your shadow to get back to the real world. there is an opposition that is fighting the queen but they are not being very effective and have to stay hidden so they won't be caught by the queen's army. this game is based loosely on alice in wonderland if you haven't already guessed. sequel...there has other others, i think.
I recommend this game!
Springfield has never been spookier! See the Costume Parade, Ghostly Museum, Dracula's Castle and Haunted Hotel in this superb Halloween adventure.

a typical HO game but the items are very small sometimes. they are well hidden and sometimes almost impossible to find. it is a series of games i do play even though it is hard to see the items. check it out before you buy just in case you have trouble seeing things in the the games. i would have given it 5 stars excerpt for the size of the items. some are hidden and you have to click around the scenes to find them but when you do it is a nice surprise.
I recommend this game!

you have been asked to come to the axiom hotel to help the local police to solve the murders that are happening there. the hotel is said to be haunted by the axiom butcher who died there years ago. quite a few die after you get there and you go on the hunt. you have one person willing to help you and you meet up at different times. the murders are brutal and bloody so be aware of that. there is a custom level and the hint system will transport you where you need to go if it is outside of your scene. there seems to always be a sequal in the series!
I recommend this game!

you wake up with no memories except being a part of the order and solomon as a mentor. you have no past memories. gabriel says he is your brother and that he can tell you about your past but first you two have to work with solomon to defeat the evil spirit. the spirit takes over the body of it's enemies and then they do whatever it says. sequel? i feel sure since this is number 3.
I recommend this game!

i saw some lesser stars in the reviews but i liked it. there is a custom level and a great hint system. you are a detective planning on taking a vacation but on the train that you are taking to where you are going to your vacation destination something starts happening on the train and a girl is kidnapped by 2 strange creatures and her father tells you that she is his daughter and has special pyrotechnic abilities and that is why they were on the train to move some where that no one knew them. well, you get on the case to find her and encounter these strange creatures. i really liked this game even those others didn't not give an overwhelming high rating. a sequel. it is a mystery trackers game....there is always a sequel!!!

there is a custom level and the hint system tells where you need to go. this is as good as the other games in this series. st. germaine, the dwarf, is still his nefarious self. you are looking for a certain person and you track him down eventually. all i am saying......a sequel, of course. there have been too many not to have another one.

there is a custom level and the hints act like a map by telling you where you need to go next if it is outside the scene you are in otherwise they direct you to next place to look. an innkeeper is telling the story of how he was thief and gave it up but then his sister got sick and nothing helped her so he decided to go back to his former profession to steal the medicine he needed from the witch in the forest. he knew she had it so the only way to get it was to steal it from her. i feel sure there will be a sequel because of the way it ended
