fantastic game!!!! hint/skip charge fairly fast. good graphics. items can be found in HO scenes. i played casual, low sound. you have been called in to find emilie, another reporter, that has disappeared in raincliff. she started reporting and then nothing. you are chasing the "headless one". he has developed a formula that makes people invisible. even the clothes they wear eventually take on the invisibility trait. if you defy him, he then punishes you. sequel.....sure! there always is one. great series!!!!!!
you are trying to save your brother who has been taken by a mad scientist that has found an elixir to keep him young and has need of people to keep this "young thing" going. you go to a castle where your brother was last seen and find out he is locked in a cage and the scientist wants him and you for his use. there is a journal. it records what you need. you have to think sometimes to get through. i had to cheat a few times. the hint and skip button take a little more time that i like to recharge. the mini games are kind of hard for me but maybe not others. played casual, very low/no sound. sequel...i think so.
played casual, low sound. map, diary/journal. widescreen option. you play as amy. you are an adult now but you go back in time in another world and are hunting the dark lord who needs 4 souls in the snowglobe to become ruler of the world. he has encased many souls and you are to free those as well. you meet some of them along the way who give you help. hints/skip charge pretty quickly and the mini games vary in how hard they are. i even solved a few and that seldom happens. sequel.....it's possible
this game is kind of hard. the hints charge kind of slowly. i played casual, low sound. there is a diary but no map which i could have used since there was a good bit of back and forth. you are looking for your kids after your ex-husband has kidnapped them. before that though, your were married to their father and he was charged with you father's death so your ex went to jail, you then married his best friend who was there to help with the kids after your ex-husband went to jail. your now husband winds up shot and you are sure your ex did it and left the notes about your kids being taken. then you decide to go into his brain to find your kids with a dream machine. well you find out the truth about all of it. some of the HO scenes are pretty dark and the items are hard to find, but it is a game that makes you think and it has good length, so it isn't a game that you waste money on because of length. sequel.....this is one so why not.
as the name states it takes place in rome and you are marcus and you are trying to win the hand of the emperor's daughter, who by the way wants to marry you as well, by collecting all the stolen relics. there is another that has stolen them and you have to find them. it is a HO game with no puzzles. some of the items are very hard to see and find. i had to use the hint quite often to find them. the hint button takes awhile to recharge once you use it and so i didn't want to use it but had no choice. played casual, with no sound. the graphics are good it is just that the items are sometimes so small and in the dark and you can't see them. be prepared for this. sequel...maybe.
i played in a custom level where you could adjust recharge speeds. low/no sound. i did enjoy the game. i think i am just getting tired of HO games. there is a diary. no map. you are trying to save your girlfriend, lynn, and she thinks you don't love her any more. she has been taken by an evil entity named elizabeth. you do have an imp helper that can get to things you can't. sequel...probably.
I recommend this game!

Jane Austen's: Estate of Affairs
Search for Jane Austen's missing novel and help save the Austen estate from greedy villains!
the woman has been summoned to her uncle's estate because it is being threatened to be taken by an enemy. she needs to find her aunt's manuscript so she can sell it and save the estate. at the end there is a surprise ending. sequel ???? there is another in the series, so maybe. i played casual. there is a diary but no map and that would have helped because there was a lot of back and forth but it only got annoying at the beginning.
you are a detective that is called in to figure out what is happening in this town. the graphics are great and you can customize hint and skip recharge speeds or just play one of the regular levels. i played on the custom level and the skip and hints recharge almost immediately. low sound. really enjoyed it and the way i set it up there was no stress. just what i wanted. you have a beagle named bonnie to help you and a diary and map. sequel...possiblilty.
i didn't care for this game. i played casual and low sound. the hints and skip buttons took about 60 seconds or more to charge. wasted time because i needed hints a good bit. no map. journal but i didn't see that it helped much. not giving a very good review but i really didn't like it. the mini games seemed very hard for me so all told not for me. i will recommend it because to each their own, but i would recommend the demo first just to be sure you like it.
played casual, low sound. skips/hints charge fairly fast. hints will take you where you need to go and then show you where you need to interact. there is an interactive map, and a journal. you are looking for your father who went missing a long time ago and you are helped by your friend, ian, and you play as the main character then as ian off and on in the game. could be a sequel. mini games are not too hard, i just couldn't do them all.
