played casual mostly no sound. hint/skip charge in about 30 seconds. there is an interactive map that shows areas of interest but if you transport it has to recharge. that is ok, because the hints will get you there by showing you where to go. you are the daughter whose mother has died and your aunt raised you with your dad who is no longer here now either. your aunt (who i guess is no longer here, either) sends you a letter with a key to your old house where you lived as a child and you go there and the story begins. you meet a gnome who helps you throughout the game. you need to start the clock that has frozen time and allowed the evil to escape and this is your journey. graphics are clear. sequel....yes!!!!
you are rebuilding 3 houses and the same game play as others. not hard at all and there are hidden object games but they are the same and not hard. they involve finding 20 objects as you get further into the game. there is also a crystal game where you click on all these crystals as they fall before they fade away. the red ones have a higher energy level and the other ones have 2 different ones. the only thing about this is that the crystals fall on the screen behind the graphics at the bottom of the screen and i couldn't get the that part of the screen to lower when playing that one. didn't try on the other one. hints charge really fast. only had to use that on the hidden objects part of the game. again that may be because the object is behind the graphics on the bottom of the screen and you can't see it.
I recommend this game!

Escape from Thunder Island
Join the more-brave-than-brilliant aviatrix Rita James on a quest to rescue her kidnapped father in Escape from Thunder Island!
there were no skips so i didn't get along so well. you have to wait for the hint button to recharge to finish the mini games if you can't get them or you have to go to the WT. it is a typical rita james game. marbles the monkey does most of the saving, but rita gets the credit. marbles gets fed up but his curse words are asterisks and symbols. you have to collect puzzle pieces to put pictures together and 80 coins or more through the game in order to see the extra at the end (after the credits) which introduces the sequel...... good graphics and all, but NO SKIP BUTTON.
limited power ups that you earn. one of 4. they charge in a certain order. long long long game. took me days, playing a good many times each day. played casual, low/no sound. 3 different ways to play-swap, chain and group.
Your friend, Mary, disappears and it's up to you to save her. Uncover an exotic land with unearthly secrets as you find and help your friend leave the flying island.
a good game for a special deal due to length. great graphics. a lot of fragmented scenes. adventure scenes. played casual, no sound. hint/skip charge in about 30-45 seconds. you are looking for your friend mary on a floating island that she opened up a portal to get to. when you follow her you search for her then find her but she is in a spirit form and you have to free the spirits on the island so they can go on living "normal" lives and to bring mary back as well. i had to skip most of the mini games. that is a "me" thing though. no interactive map but hints help you in where to go.
Deep in the heart of an enchanted forest, a forbidden love blooms. Guide the human Eveline as she sets out to rescue her beloved from the clutches of a tyrant.
more adventure than hidden object. hint/skip charge in about 30 seconds. hints guide you well, but there is an interactive map that shows you where you need to go for a task. you are a woman that fell in love with a werecat and he loves you back but both sides are against the two of you. the weres take him hostage and you search for him. played casual, no sound it is an 1GB game. huge load!!!
you're "madame detective " and have been sent to an island where people disappeared and the ships are found abandoned and captains and crews are nowhere to be found. a little girl's spirit comes to you and helps you some throughout the game. you find the ID of the detective that was sent before and was never heard from again. played casual, no sound. hint/skip charge in about 30-45 seconds. didn't time it. the mini games could be hard if you are like me. i had to skip quite a few. the graphics are good but some scenes take a little time to find the objects because of the number in the scene (crowded) but sometimes they are well hidden and blend in. diary and interactive map. sequel...i think so.
played casual, no/low sound. skip/hint charge in about a minute. good graphics. i had to think some as to what to do. not a pushover game but it is not too hard. the hint system did not handhold you as to what to do. there is an interactive map that shows where you need to go. sequel,,,i would think so as long as they sell.
The Emperor's son has a mysterious illness. As legendary healer Daiyu, you're called to the palace to save him, but you end up having to save yourself!
i don't usually like the asian games for some reason but i did like this one. got stuck a couple of times and had to cheat. hint/skip charge fairly fast. played casual, low sound-asian theme. you re called in to heal an emperor's son and somehow turn him to stone instead. the emperor's brother is trying to have you blamed for it and you have to figure out how to fix the son before the emperor gets back from his travels and how to escape with your life.
Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
played casual, low or no sound. hints/skips charge in 30 seconds on casual. great graphics. you are an archaeologist that is on a team working on the underground world of atlantis you are looking for a certain medallion and when you take it everything falls apart and you wake up sometime in the future. you start working on the base that you were sent to and come across the medallion again. the problem......how to get it. you are battling "bugs"...nasty-looking things. there is a surprise at the end. sequel...possibly
