this game got one of my lowest reviews ever. the graphics were not that clear, the objects were misnamed, the VOs were slow, but could be skipped. the hint/skip buttom charged rather fast or i would have quit the game unfinished because i needed it a lot and i had to force myself to finish it. i liked the other games in this series, but this is at the bottom of the list. i played casual and no sound. i really didn't like it at all. the HO scenes were a common color and so it was hard to find the objects. others might like it, but i didn't. i don't recommend it.
I don't recommend this game.

Joan Jade and the Gates of Xibalba
Take on the role of Joan Jade, archeologist of the year and mother extraordinaire, in her quest to save her children!
the game had good graphics and the HO scenes es weren't bad but there weren't many of them. hint/skip charge in 60 seconds. no map but there really is no need. there is a diary. hints don't hand hold you but do help. i had to check the walkthrough a couple of times. you are looking for your kidnapped children in the jungle and so it has a mayan influence. a lot of problem solving.
I recommend this game!

Christmas Tales: Fellina's Journey
Find Santa’s magic star and stop the gruesome Icy Elf from ruining Christmas for everyone on the planet in Christmas Tales: Fellina’s Journey!
graphics are nice, don't know about sound. no map but there is a diary. didn't need it. hint/skip button kind of fast. not as slow as some but not as fast as some. HO scenes not crowded. hints don't really tell you much. no hand holding there. there is casual and the other. i played casual as always. the mini games weren't too hard....i even solved some of them and that is unusual. as far as the story you are fellina and the only totally good person. the elves come get you to free santa who has been frozen. it is a short game. i wouldn't recommend paying full price for it, but as a deal it wouldn't be bad!!!!

Jewel Match - Winter Wonderland
Align dazzling holidays jewels and break them out of their frozen boxes in this relaxing and mesmerizing matching game.
this is a typical match 3 game with only one item to power up and it is has 2 levels. it is not particularly hard except for 2 or 3 levels and the forum can help you solve them. i didn't like it as much as the other jewel match games because i think the graphics are incredible in the other ones. this is just usual ones. the music, which i seldom listen to but i did a few times with this one, is different christmas songs, but that can be expected since it is a christmas themed match 3. took me almost 21 hours to finish. that was on the casual (untimed) game. i didn't know it kept the time. no biggie.

Christmas Stories: Nutcracker
A classic Christmas tale tail, with a whole new twist! Help the Nutcracker rescue the princess from the evil Rat King!
i enjoyed playing this one. i enjoyed my little friends-nutcracker, cat and candle. they each had a different job to do to help me through the game. i played casual and no sound. the graphics were very clear. the hint/skip buttons charged fairly fast. i seem to be playing an awful lot of christmas themed games lately, but the graphics are so pretty. the HO scenes are not really crowded and you usually don't need hints to find things. there is an interactive map but no journal. the hints tell you what you need to know.

a very good game that made you try a little harder
i played casual and no sound but the graphics were great. the hint/skip buttons charge fast. the hints tell where to go but not always enough as to what to do. you need to find a slew of "secret doves" as you play. they can be in pictures, drawn somewhere or as part of a scene. they are not hard to overlook if you are concentrating on the game. i went back a few times and found some i didn't see before. there is a journal but no map and you could use it in this game because of the broad area, even if it wouldn't have been interactive.

Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper Collector's Edition
Push your detective skills to the limit in a fantastical faraway land and find a prince's lost love.
i really liked this game. you had objects to place in the scenes instead of finding them so i guess you can't say HO scenes. there is a map that is interactive and that is good because there is a lot of back and forth. the skip/hint button charges fast and the hints tell you where to go and hold your hand if you wish. i played casual and no sound but the graphics are awesome and the scenes are not really crowded. most of the objects are placed in logical places.

Holiday Bonus Gold
Chill out with this winter-themed puzzle game as you line up shapes and work your way up the decorated tree.
there are 2 ways to play...classic and gold. 55 levels in each and none of them are really hard. the music got kind of boring but not too bad and you can cut it down. there is a hint button if you get stuck but i only used it twice. the power ups per se but still is a fun game. untimed as far as having to get done in a certain amount of time, but the timer does keep count of how long it takes you to do a level. you can also set the different screens that come up every 5 levels you complete as desktop wallpaper and they are pretty.
I recommend this game!

Fairly Twisted Tales: The Price Of A Rose
To save her father, Bella vowed to stay with the beast, but is he truly evil? Help Bella follow her heart!
it is the story of beauty and the beast-twisted. but not in a bad way. there is a journal and an interactive map that will transport you once you have visited a place. the hints charge fast and the graphics are wonderful and the scenes are not crowded. i thought it was an enjoyable game and there is a very wide-spread area so that map comes in handy. played casual

Phantasmat
After crashing your car in the middle of nowhere, you stumble upon a mysterious town with a shady background. Solve a dark mystery!
this game was one of the harder ones i have played. the HO scenes can be toggled back and forth with M3 games. hints take as long as 3 minutes to charge but seldom was that a problem because you can always look elsewhere and come back. did have to go to the walkthrough more than i would have liked. most actions were logical and there wasn't a map so make sure you remember where things are.
