Because I only lasted 15 mins, I can't provide too much helpful information on the game. However, I'll say what I can.
With all due respect to the developers, overall, this game was one of THE worst games I've ever played.
Gameplay-slow & choppy. Very user unfriendly. The objectives weren't obvious, the actions & items necessary to progress were illogical. Everything seemed disjointed.
Storyline-uninteresting.
Graphics-Colorful but flat. Unimaginitive & outdated.
Dialog-Frustrating!!! There was more dialog between the characters & narrator, than there was game play. I kept thinking...'Enough already with all the talking...let's get on with the game!!!'
Also, when I exited the game, the screen had a redish hue, and my monitor settings were all askew. Desktop icons were missing and the whole screen was significantly shifted to the left. #I had to restart the computer to get it back to normal#
On the upside, I will say that I enjoyed the Mole's english accent. He sounded like Bob Hoskins. :D
Not only do I NOT recommend this game to buy, but don't waste your time on the Trial. It's just that bad!
I don't recommend this game.

This game is right up there with the current 'New Generation' HOGs.
It's got a good storyline, wonderful graphics and music, and interesting characters. The scenes transitioned well, which contributed to the nice flow of the game.
Some of the tasks didn't make sense, and I had to use the Strategy Guide a few times to figure out what to do next, but once I got an idea of the developers style, it wasn't too bad. The game play was smooth, and objects were well drawn & represented.
I don't recall a lot of dialog or interaction with the characters, which I would have liked to see more of, but I suppose it's better than having too much dialog, which can be a distraction.
The puzzles weren't 'impossible' to figure out, but I fear they might be, as the game progresses.
I was disappointed when the trial ended, as I was dying to know how it ended. So, while I will be buying this game, I'll wait for the standard version.
Well worth your time to try. I highly recommend this game!

This game harkens back to the beginning of HOGs. There's no in-depth storyline to follow. No keys, door knobs, ropes, etc....to find. Just a good old fashioned HOG.
I really enjoyed this game, because sometimes I just want to relax and have fun looking for stuff, and this one fits the bill.
The graphics, music, effect, were well done and didn't distract from the playing experience. I liked the boomerangs, and that you could get extra levels. The way they transitioned from level to level was nice and smooth. Just good flow through out the game. Very enjoyable indeed. :D
I'd definitely recommend this game!!!

I feel the developers had a good idea, but fell short of taking this game to it's full potential.
1. The graphics for me were fun, bright and fantastical.
2. The music & sound effects didn't distract from the game.
3. As for 'difficulty level', there was a lot of 'hand holding' via the dialog, but some of the tasks were not as easy to execute as one might think.
4. As many have pointed out, a lot of the items were so small it was impossible to see them.
5. Some items didn't look like I expected them to, and that was frustrating.
6. Add the fact that you had to click in 'just the right spot' to pick up an item, and it became too much. **I try to go through each game without using any hints, and it's angering when a hint is used for something I've already clicked on 4-5 times** Grrrrr!!!!!! Note: I did not use the zoom feature.
Overall, this game is one I feel must be tried before buying, because you never know. However, I will not be purchasing this game.
I recommend trying the Trial version.

Just got done playing this game. Actually, I stopped before time ran out because it was so not fun.
As another poster said, you keep playing to see if it gets better, but it doesn't.
Cons:
There is more dialog than necessary to advance in the game.
The artwork is poor and has no texture.
Stopping to dress your character is bothersome.
Some HOs difficult to spot due to poor artistry.
Pros:
Gameplay was smooth.
No technical issues.
Varied styles of mini games.
Good for kids or beginners, due to ease of play.
Personally, I did not enjoy this game at all. But because tastes vary, I recommend trying before buying.
I don't recommend this game.
