I LOVE this game, I love all the Gardenscapes games. I only played a short time to make sure it worked ok, it did and I purchased it.
Love the games where you can decorate/fix up, with this game you get 3 choices per item which is always awesome, the more choices you get the better the game.
Aside from the hidden objects, you find hidden/scattered gold coins to add more money to your total, some are hidden well. Find question marks to add to your hints, I believe you can only have 5 hints at a time, not positive though. There will be a camera and a magnifying glass in the hidden object scenes as well, the camera shows you where a few of the items are in one shot (the faster you click items simultaneously you get extra bonus $$), and the magnifying glass, which lasts for several seconds, enlarges objects and makes the object you need sort of wiggle. There may be more things incorporated into the game as you go, but I haven’t gotten any further.
Lots of achievements, you can change to relax mode under options, there are helpful tips after each scene is completed, and thank you for the option to skip the tutorials and sparkles!
This game series is one of the best in my opinion! Please don't ever change a thing because it totally rocks just the way it is. Absolutely awesome game.......awesome.

I was excited to see this game, I don't mind "old school", and may have purchased it had you been given the option to pass on the sparkles. It's irritating when you don't even get to take a look around the scene without sparkles getting all up in your grill, just really irritating. Too funny, I as well left the building as soon as I got to the car, and never looked back.

LOVE this game, we need more like it. What else is to be said that hasn't already been covered by others.
Find the camera, thermometer or question mark to help you along, you can play timed or untimed, name your cute little dog, earn money finding the objects as fast as you can....or not, you will still earn $$ to purchase furniture. Best of all, you get to decorate and have 3 choices to choose from, great replay value as well.
Absolutely the best, please bring more games like this one! Thank You!

Awesome game! The graphics were sooooooo beautiful (loved the falling snow and scenery) and the music was good. There are achievements to accomplish (no hints used, 3 hidden object games played without hints, puzzles not skipped etc.), I was not able to earn all achievements which means I will have to replay in the future. You also collect frogs which can be found throughout the scenes and in some hidden object areas as well, if you collect at least 50 you earn an achievement. I thought the game was a bit challenging playing on advanced mode, there is a lot of back and forth, some of the puzzles I had to skip and I had to use the hints now and then as well. Good long game, good story, good bonus, this was an awesome game. Many thank you's.

Very easy HOG game, straight and to the point. Easy to find objects, graphics are nice and clear, very easy puzzles. Option for hints and skip button but you probably won't need to use them. It was a good game for the DD, nothing especially exciting but a good basic HOG.
I recommend this game!

I know many thought this game was depressing but I wanted to give it a try and am so glad I stuck to it.
The music is so beautiful in my opinion, it fit the mood of the game and I kept it playing throughout the whole game, that’s how much I loved it. Graphics were nice and no problems at all with the game play.
You collect the pretty butterfly in most areas throughout the game, even in the sparkly HOG areas, and it gives you an extra hint for each one you find. Some items were hard to see/find but for the most part I didn’t have a problem. If you happy click about 3 times the screen will crack on you for a moment, hints work in the HOG areas and throughout the game, and the many unique puzzles have the option to skip once the skip button fills, which was fairly quick. At the end of each chapter you get to choose what your next move will be to end that chapter to get you started on the next, depending on how you answer (I think), you get an extra butterfly added to your hints (your answers don’t change the outcome of the game I don't believe).
One might think the storyline is bizarre but in the end I understand what the message is. The game lasted me a bit, sorry, I’m not one to actually time a game, I notice if a game seems extra short or extra long and this one didn’t seem extra short. I tend to play a few hours for several nights and for the DD it was a great deal in my humble opinion, at one point I actually thought the game was over and it wasn't. I’m soooo glad I played it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thank-u's for this awesome game.

The Edgar Allan Poe series is awesome and I think ERS does such fantastic work. I did the more difficult level (no sparkles, hints take longer) and struggled a few times, played the game a few hours for several nights and feel this game was totally worth the $$, it seemed to last a bit longer. Lots of walking back and forth but that is ok with me, beautiful music and graphics as always, good storyline and characters, skip options, all in all I think this was an awesome game, thank you ERS.
I recommend this game!
