This is one of the dumbest games I've seen...it's right up there with plants vs zombies. Both game formats are just plain awful!! The object is to protect your treasure from zombie pirates but you can't earn enough weapons in a timely fashion to do so. After you place the weapon, you just sit back and do nothing but watch it slowly kill the pirates. And I do mean slowly. No, really... slooooowly.
I don't understand why this game got so many high marks and good reviews because it is absolutely low in challenge and has absolutely no fun factor at all.
This game is a big yawner. Don't bother if you're looking for a fun challenge because you won't find it here.
I don't recommend this game.

I first fell in love with Fairway Solitaire for the PC on Big Fish when it first came out some years ago. Then, I fell in love with the iPad version because you could buy helps and clubs with real money and the game was more challenging and it had more variables which increased the fun factor. Then, BFG came out with the PC version that was similar to the iPad version except I could not use real money to buy irons or helps and it did not have the variables of the iPad game. But, it was still fun to play.
Now, we are offered Fairway Solitaire: Tee to Play. This game is just an upgrade from the PC Collector's Edition because, now, you can buy irons and helps from the golf shop using real money, just like you can with the iPad version.
I love this game no matter where I'm playing it (PC or iPad) and I'm glad to see the PC version upgraded to match the iPad version. However, I wish BFG could have found a way to upgrade Fairway Collector's Edition for the PC with these new variables instead of presenting them on yet another game that I will have to start all over again.
That being said, I do appreciate the free activation of Tee to Play. Thank you!
I recommend this game!

Although this is a straight hidden object game, the challenge comes when you have to earn 6 stars for each scene: 3 stars for word list and 3 stars for picture list as you try to beat the clock. This is actually fun and challenging at the same time because the items are cleverly hidden. However, as you find objects, you earn coins. Then you use those coins to buy "helps" to assist you in finding objects, beating the clock, etc.
You can replay a scene to try and earn all of your stars before progressing to the next scene. This is how you challenge yourself to get the best time, the best score, and the most coins.
This is a great hidden object game and I highly recommend it because it is definitely NOT boring.
I recommend this game!

I loved the first Fairway golf solitaire game but this one is absolutely the best solitaire game out there! I first played this version on my iPad and found it so addictive, challenging and fun, I played it every single day. Aside from the regular golf courses, they have daily challenges that help you earn golf bucks. You don't have to know a thing about golf to play it but as you go along, you find yourself picking up a few phrases and understanding what they mean. The narrator's commentary is funny but you can always mute it.
This is a great game and a great pastime that is easy to learn and master. If you haven't tried Fairway Solitaire, treat yourself and enjoy. You won't be sorry.
I recommend this game!

I like this kind of hidden object game because it has variables, which mean it's not a straight HOG. It has a screen that can be moved from left to right when searching for items and the side games or puzzles are a nice break from the normal hidden object goal. The story line is easy to follow and your progress in the game calls for you to answer questions about the investigation correctly. The game keeps your attention because each scene comes with its own variables and they are not always the same. This is a really fun hidden object game to play.
I recommend this game!

I read the reviews then tried the game for myself. And I must admit...I agree with every one of them. This is nothing but a hidden object game looking for nothing but numbers (that in itself is boring). As you find a number, they are not removed from the screen and the point of it all leaves you scratching your head about what the developers were thinking with this one. No fun factor at all. No rhyme or reason. Totally boring. Don't waste your time with this one...not even on trial.
I don't recommend this game.

This HOG is based on a farm with very pleasant variables, i.e., buying animals, searching for hidden items ( in alpha order & without using hints), finding special quest items, planting, watering, fixing up your farm, etc. The graphics are very good, the challenge level is good and the storyline is not bad. An HOG with variables like this is definitely one of my favorites and this is an absolutely wonderful change of pace from most hidden object games that offer murder, mayhem and ghosts as entertainment. This is a fun way to pass the time!
I recommend this game!

FINALLY!!! A hidden object game that does not have blood, guts, and gore as its theme!! I love it!! HOGs are one of my favorite games to play but lately, all of them have had the same theme: murder, mayhem, ghosts and demons. And children are always the victims. Enough already! I don't know about you but a constant diet of ghosts, demons, and murdered children are NOT entertaining to me. There's a reason I have never sought employment in the criminal industry (on either side)...it's never been appealing to me. And neither are the HOGs where I have to be the detective to solve mysteries and cold cases and find missing persons. Not appealing. But this game is a pleasant change from all of that and that is why I gave it 5 stars. It is fun, relaxing, and mildly challenging. It is a hidden object game with variables and that's what makes it a fun game to play. Here's an idea for the game developers: try developing an HOG game using current event themes; i.e., the oscars, grammys or music awards; the political campaigns; any daytime talk show; etc., etc. There's more going on in our world other than murder and missing cases. Expand your minds.
I recommend this game!

Shopping spree challenges your memory as to where things are in the store as you serve customers and as you race against the clock. This is a fun HOG to play because it's actually three games in one...a memory game, hidden object, and time management. This is one of my favorite type of games to play.
I recommend this game!

HOG is one of my favorite games but this one was absolutely ridiculous. Items hidden in a patchwork animal shape was probably meant to add cuteness but it only made it frustrating and tedious...and not in a good way. I didn't play five minutes of this game before uninstalling it. I wouldn't even recommend this one for children. This is absolutely the worst HOG I've tried so far. Tiny hidden objects in a colorful patchwork is not fun, it's just plain awful. Don't bother with this one.
I don't recommend this game.
