This really was a good game. Hidden objects were different and even the morphs had a second part that was fun. A real pet-peeve of mine has always been that by the end (when the player knows the end is about there) the creators stick in an absurdly hard puzzle that takes forever to get through. When you are minutes from the end the reason for that is beyond me. This one did not have that. The final puzzle was challenging - took a couple shots to get it - but it was perfectly hard and the end of the story was there without frustration. Also, I never play the bonus games but did in this one. Until this game, there were only two games I wanted to play a second time - the first and second Mystery Case Files. I will actually play this game again.

Enjoyed this game, Art work was fantastic. Storyline just different enough to keep me interested. I would recommend it and may even play it over. One small glitch I found irritating was the top narration panel stayed on screen too long. Covered up some areas of interest and I backed out of the scene and then back in to check for things under them. The HOS were very good and different. Haven't enjoyed a game this much in quite a while.

Very cute story line - challenging in the timed mode - fun in the relaxed mode. Well done and doesn't overtax your RAM while you play. Highly recommend for many ages.

Different solitaire game. Cards change and game changes for a while to break it up a bit. Am glad I tried it and bought it. It is one of the few card games I wanted to play again and started over as a different player as soon as I completed the first one. Storyline is minor minor part of this, the good solitaire game is the thing I was looking for and got.

Different twists to the storyline. Perfect interactive map to take you where you need to go (wish they were all like this one). The HOS are very good, each has interactive areas. Graphics are great! Good storyline. Really liked the portals idea because it gave different backgrounds throughout the whole game. All around, very nice game with enough difference to make it interesting.

This reminded me of the HOS games of the past - all graphics and fun. But, had so many new twist that it wasn't like playing the same game over. (Wonder if others feel like that? That the HOS games are so similar you get confused about which game you are playing?) This one is not like that! It is more than just HOS, there are many games within this game and all were fun to play. Think another reviewer mentioned you move from location to location quite a bit and I agree. Like they said, a map would have been nice. But, it really wasn't bad because active areas are grouped into sections and once you leave a section you don't go back. Active areas are between 4 to 6 scenes and it does not take multiple clicks between the areas - just one or two clicks needed. The game is fun, the story line was very good, graphics were outstanding, and music was enjoyable (it didn't repeat or irritate like some games have). Think you will like this game.

Until this game, my favorite solitaire game was Fairway by Big Fish. The actual card game on this one is much more challenging. The last level in this game is extremely difficult to get by - but I'm proof you can do it. You will need to use cannon balls on that last game so save them up. I also like that I will play this game again. (I like Fairway for the same reason.) Highly recommend this game if you are a solitaire lover. (And Fairway too!)

Wish there were more games like this! It is just a fun game to play - building a colony, making sure your workers are happy and healthy, doing what they like to do, have enough food, gain knowledge to increase the colony, and trade with the main land. Within that are shoot the pirate games and more.
For many months I've read reviews with the same comment; games seem to be missing-the-mark lately. That is why I was thrilled to have found this game! HOS have a different twist to them and challenging! Mystery storyline is extremely good. The graphics and animation are over-the-top in this game and I would have played it through just to enjoy them. All around, I highly recommend this game. If you were, like me, getting tired of HOS games because the unique factor wasn't there anymore, this is one that will renew your faith in them.
