Despite some of the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I made it almost all the way through the first area before I ran out of time on my free trial. Literally, the colors and busyness of the scenery made my eyes water, so I was hoping to make it to the next area before making my overall decision. I may give it another try when it comes around again as a standard edition, because there is no way on earth I would buy as a collector's edition.
I don't recommend this game.
Solve puzzles and save Halloween before the little witches, ghosts and other terrors start knocking on the doors!

Based on other reviews, I thought, it can't be THAT bad. I purposely did not use my sound. Then when I started to play, I see what everyone else is saying. This one gets a Nope. Just. Nope.
I don't recommend this game.
A Halloween visit with distant relatives becomes more than you bargained for!

Finally, a Halloween game (or any game) worth even trying. The games in the daily section have been just HORRIBLE lately, not even worth spending a credit on. Unless a game is part of my "collection" I do not normally purchase the CE. I will wait until the standard version comes out and then will purchase this game. Gameplay is standard Domini (predictable), but the theme is good, graphics/sound are good.
I recommend this game!

Before I even started to play, I got an error and got dumped out. The very first HOP scene, I had an eraser to fix the moon and then it disappeared before I could use it. Fix it up, please.

When this game comes out regular version will definitely purchase it. Great story line, challenging, but fun puzzles. Graphics are great.
I recommend this game!

Puzzle directions were not clear. Graphics and sound were great. I am glad I got this game for free.

Puzzles: challenging, but not impossible. Many twists to the plot which was well received. Took me a couple hours to play, instead of finishing with the trial. Loved this game and will play again now that I purchased it.
When a new romance blossoms, the door to mystery opens in Love Alchemy!
