WHILE THIS GAME DOES NOT GIVE YOU A WHOLE LOT TO GO ON BY WAY OF INSTRUCTION, I STILL FOUND IT INTERESTING ENOUGH TO BUY AFTER THE DEMO. WHO DOES NOT JUST LOVE BEING TRAPPED BETWEEN WORLDS AND TRACKING SERIAL KILLERS?
I CONSIDER MYSELF AND EXPERT EVEN THOUGH I ALWAYS PUT MYSELF AS AN INTERMEDIATE PLAYER . HONESTLY, I JUST COULD NOT GET INTO THE FLOW WITH THIS ONE. IT ISN'T THAT IT IS A BAD GAME, JUST NOT MY CUP OF TEA! I WOULD RECOMMEND IT, I JUST DID NOT CARE FOR IT.
MY QUESTION IS...IS THERE A HACK TO THIS GAME????? HAS ANYONE MADE IT THROUGH TO THE END??? I HAVE MADE IT TO 6.9 AND THAT IS IT. TRULY IS A LOVE/ HATE GAME. I NEVER CURSE, BUT MY VOCABULARY HAS EXPANDED SINCE I HAVE HAD THIS GAME :-( HAVE HAD THIS SINCE 2007 COULD NOT PLAY IT FOR A WHILE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT DOWNLOAD BUT I BOUGHT IT AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME..I MUST BE SERIOUSLY CRAZY.
I also was surprised this game was so well done. Easy to follow, puzzle levels were fairly easy, but some just challenging enough to keep me going. Easy to follow and just a great snow day game. Well worth the Collector's Edition price. Loved finding the "observers," that was better for me than a morphing object...although I do love the morph's, I never find them all on the first try.
I find it quite puzzling that all of these 5 stars show up when it has no real glue to make one want to keep going. I buy collectors editions to have the guide on hand, but when you have to use the guide in almost every scene because it makes "no sense" at all, I am left VERY CONFUSED at the story line. Please bring back "The real MCF's or just bring us a new one with no background so we can start new with a new dev. slanted from their angle.
I AM REALLY PUZZLED AS TO WHY THIS GAME HAS FALLEN SO QUICKLY DOWN THE CHART. I ALSO DO NOT KNOW HOW ANYONE CAN GIVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW AND ONLY PLAY THE DEMO. THE GAME TOOK ME 4.5 HOURS TO FINISH AND I COULD NOT SIT AND PLAY THE 4 HOURS STRAIGHT. I THOUGHT THE GRAPHICS WERE A TAD GRAY, BUT THAT DID ADD TO THE OVERALL CREEPY FEEL. THE "LITTLE SHIRLEY TEMPLE" LOOKING DEMONIC GIRL MADE ME FEEL ON EDGE. I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT GAME, WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I GIVE 5 STARS AFTER BUYING AND PLAYING THE ENTIRE GAME.
You've been asked to cover a highly anticipated competition in New York City when something goes terribly wrong. Can you escape the world of illusions?
This was a very unexpected win/win situation for me. Loved the games, plot, and the length of the game. Found myself excited about what was ahead in this game. Would highly recommend this for all levels of expertise. You can always change if it is to easy or hard. I did have to refer to the strategy guide a couple of times, and skipped a puzzle that the answer dawned on me later in. I must say that I totally forgot to look for the morphing cards after about 10 scenes or so, so I plan on going back this snowy day and replaying to do that.
I was hooked within minutes of starting the demo. This game for an SE was excellent. It was not hard, but just challenging enough, and you glided right through it. The HO scenes were not cluttered, but still gave you "pause" from time to time. Just a great game from start to finish. Unique games in every scene, somewhat different from the usual. I am ready for another! Thanks for a great weekend while recouping from surgery!
I loved the original Madam Fate, and had actually gone back about a month ago and played it again for the umpteenth time. This was so well done and I am actually not finished with it yet, but paused to give my kodo's to BFG and Elephant for listening to feed back and actually doing something about it. MCF had lost its luster to me starting with the 13th Skull, then last year I bought without demo and never got past the first chapter because I was so disappointed. I did try this demo first, and had 1 minute left when I bought. it. Tons of challenges, for all skill levels, beautful graphics and the music was from Return to Ravenhearst, which I loved. Thank you for bringing us back to "something good to look forward to at Thanksgiving." For that "I am thankful!"
Although I did enjoy parts of this game..I did not find but 2 morphing objects, I forgot my clovers most of the time, and the ravens when it occured to me. I loved Abraham Lincoln and some how mixing Wicthcraft with a God fearing man just was unsettling to me. As a matter of fact most of the games now are of a "dark" nature. I would love for the developers to start coming up with something more positive. We live in a world with too much of this stuff going on.Hmmm... wonder where they came up with it? Bring back some of the older type games that were fun instead of so complex. I do have trouble when someone plays a game like the Pantheon and says it was boring..goodness gracious..I was perplexed as well as enthralled with that one. this one was okay..just did not like parts of it.
