The best part about this game is the gameplay - I like the "get calamity along the path" thing and the way the screen moves with her. It makes it so much more challenging than a regular match3 game - a nice spin. However, all the graphics and wild westness around the match3 part of the game is overkill in the extreme and almost ruins a great game (it was great quality - but I marked it down for overkill). I don't like these build your own town ones where you have no control over what you build or where you put it. But I did buy it for the pleasure of the main Match3 game, and I just grit my teeth thru the rest!
This game is a little easier than the normal BigFish games, but the comedy and laid-back feel to it is a welcome relief and I enjoy playing it, knowing that I probably won't need to use the help or go online for a walkthru! Not the best game out there, but nice for an interlude...
It must be only me, but the Paris scenes between games and between going to the shopping menu were sooooo slow it got so annoying that I didn't finish the trial. But I can see from other reviews that others didn't have this problem! I don't have this problem with other similar games like Zoomania.
I wasn't aware of the first game, but after the trial I bought this and have not regretted it one moment. It's reminiscent of Aveyond but the graphics are way better and no escaping to side screens. I'm really enjoying it. I will have to trial the first one when I can tear myself away!
Similar to reviewer "Bad Cooking Dash Knockoff", I only played the trial out and then decided not to buy. I had all the similar problems - not being able to serve to customers after many click attempts (grrrr) and some pop ups blocking other customer requests. It's a good idea in most areas (sometimes similar to Cooking Dash) but this lack of clickability is always a big turn off for me. There was also a lack of help in some areas where you had to work it out yourself during gameplay.
This is just as much fun as the first game, with a little more challenge with the extra requests from the shop. Challenging again to get those golds on each level. Perhaps there could have been more differences, but when you're on a winner I guess fear kicks in to change too much. Sometimes its difficult to pick up the eggs - but this is just nit picking!
I challenge anyone to get past 20 minutes of this game. It's programming is disgraceful - full of errors, typos, and minuting tuned clicking areas. The concept is interesting but it fails to delivery anything at all except a waste of time! Do not judge TM games by this one.
