I love all the games in this series - this is the fourth one. This game, like the others, have so many cool features and is so lovely to play - especially on relaxed mode, which I prefer. Others can describe the gameplay much better than me, so I will leave that to them, but I just wanted to point out ONE thing that I find totally awesome: They listened to us!
What I mean is - I wrote a review to one of the earlier games and said that the thing I wished they would change, was the bright yellow colour on the marked cells. When painting with yellowish crayons, it made the marked cells impossible to see, and I wrote that I wished we could be able to change colour on the marked cells when yellow was too difficult to see. And in this game, they listened!! We now have the option to change the colour of the marked cells as we please while working through the colours of each picture, with a nifty little row of buttons next to the tools. We can choose between four bright marker colours: yellow (like before), green, teal and purple. This makes it SOO much easier to see the marked cells, even for my bad eyes!
Thank you ever so much, developer, for listening to my/our plea, and giving us an option to change these colours! <3
I recommend this game!

I saw someone else complaining about lack of storyline. It is true that nobody said a single word in this game, but it is a continuation of the first game, and that one started with a short intro story: The three artists shared a studio on Earth, and received an invitation to participate in an interplanetary art competition. We saw them saying goodbye to everyone on Earth and then being sent off in a spaceship to their competition. We never got any direct description on what the competition contained, but we understand how they landed on one planet at a time, 5 in all. (Just like there are in this sequel too.) All the pictures we paint from each planet, are the pictures the artists painted, and they are describing the inhabitants of each planet, their lives and struggles, their cities, females, males, children playing, but also what dangers they face, their soldiers, and the sad disasters that sometimes happen. Each world is created so wonderfully alive and diverse, and we see (paint) scenes with adults, children, families, youngsters, going on about their daily lives. We also see - for example - how those living on the ice planet are constantly being hunted by the flying lizards/pterodactyls, we see one getting caught, we see the adult men consulting their sacred crystals to find a solution to this, and we see children playing in a pterodactyl skeleton, which means that they were able to defend themselves eventually. This is just an example from one of the worlds, but every world with its distinctive inhabitants and landscapes, told us their stories, as depicted by the artists (painted by us). And I see that this second game is a direct continuation of this - the artists are still on their journey to new planets, painting and describing the inhabitants, their cities and daily lives and everything else they find interesting about them. And this story-telling, these wonderfully developed worlds with each their stories - although without words - is so unique and interesting and fantastic, that I would give the game 5 stars just for that! Others can describe the details of the mechanics of playing this, I only wanted to add the story part to it, and how to find the stories in the pictures although there is no text. Of course I could have wanted some dialogue or descriptive texts here and there, if only as the titles of the paintings. But it still works, even if the texts are lacking. If I should point out one detail I would want the creators to change, in addition to giving us a minimum of text/dialogue, it would be that the marked cells always are in a bright yellow colour. That means that you need to wait until the end with adding the yellow-coloured crayons, otherwise you won't be able to differentiate the painted areas from the marked ones. I wish they could have an option where you can change the colour of the marked cells, in those situations where yellow is a very difficult colour to use. Apart from that, this game is perfect!!
I recommend this game!

I've been so tired of the same old, same old types of games being offered, so this one was welcome and different! There are 3 difficulties, so if the easiest seems too childish, why not try the harder ones? The newcomer Nora has to help the citizens in the town doing tasks and quests for them, and there is a lot of story going on, which i love. I can't really explain the mechanics of the game, others are better than me at doing that, but I loved all the quirky characters and the brain teasing tasks we have to do. Reminds me of old time adventure games, and in addition we get to do decorating and other stuff. The only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is that I couldn't find a way to create individual users, so i'm unsure whether my game will be deleted if i start another with a different difficulty. I guess i will have to find out. Try the game out and make up your own mind!
I recommend this game!

I was so happy to see yet another one of the Walker Shopping Clutter games, because they had developed to contain everything I love in a clutter game. I loved that they have a timer-free option, and I loved that all the clutter could be moved around freely on almost all boards. Some boards had the clutter moving in specific patterns, and then you couldn't move it. But on all other boards, you could move the items, sort them and uncover them.
This latest game has all the same things that I love, EXCEPT that the items can't be moved anymore! The boards look just like those in previous games, where we could move stuff around, but this time the instruction says: "All the items cannot be moved." At first I thought this looked like a typo, but it's true - none of the items can be moved anymore. I managed to play through several chapters of levels during the trial period, and I only found 3 boards in total where items COULD be moved. Since the layouts of the boards are just as cluttered as in the previous games, especially on those boards where everything lies in a huge clutter heap, it makes the boards very much harder when you cannot move anything away, because the top clutter hides everything underneath it and there is no way of getting to it when you cannot move anything. I am extremely dissappointed by this, and I'm still wondering if this is a flaw or a bug, and not really meant to be this way.
I kept hoping that as I advanced through the episodes, they would allow more boards to have moveable clutter, but no. And when the difficulty increased, with floating bubbles and unpaired items that kept being added to the board (well known challenges from the previous games), it became impossible to complete these boards without being able to move the clutter out of the way, or sort out those items you needed.
I have loved every single one of the Walker games, both the Shopping Clutters and the Travel Mosaics, and I have bought them all. But this time - for the very first time ever - I cannot buy their game. Not when the levels become impossible to complete because they have removed (or failed to include) a very essential part of the gameplay. I'm still not sure if they really meant to remove the ability to move the clutter, or if this is a bug or a flaw that they failed to fix in their hurry to release this Valentine game in time.
For now, I will bide my time and see if there will be an update with a fix available, or if they really *intended* it to be this way. As it is now, I'm very sad to say I cannot buy it since the boards become increasingly unplayable.
All I can do is to hope that they will re-instate the option of moving the items in their next game. I will wait until then.
I don't recommend this game.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game! Especially the fact that it could be customised so I could have it untimed and allow max mistakes. There isn't any storyline in this, but I wasn't looking for one. I simply wanted a game I could play and replay whenever I needed a respite from games that requires you to be more 'engaged' in the story, etc. This game Works perfectly as my 'g o to' game for anxiety- and stress-reduction, and I highly recommend it for that purpose. I also found that those 'secret' tiles that hide Puzzle pieces, show on Your finished Picture if you didn't find them. That way, you will know what Levels you need to replay to find them all.
I recommend this game!

Your mother, who was queen of the kingdom, married a greedy man who took over her kingdom. When he died, his evil son, your step brother, inherited the kingdom and the castle, and plans to drive you out of the country. The only way to reclaim your rightful inheritance as ruler of the kingdom, is to earn 300000 gold money in 80 days. To obtain this, you start a magical pet hatchery.
You buy pets that lay eggs, like geese, dragon flies, griffons, dragons etc., and your job is to collect the eggs while defending your pets from attacking monsters. You can either sell the eggs cheaply for some quick money, or hatch them and sell the creatures for a considerably higher price. But approx 19 out of 20 eggs turn out to be rotten instead of hatching a new pet, so it takes a lot of time and patience - and eggs - to make money that way.
You start out in the poor quarters with a small farm, but by doing quests for the locals, you can gradually obtain keys to better areas of the town and bigger hatcheries with more valuable pets.
The creatures you can hatch are so cute, and I enjoyed the extra challenges of needing to reach certain goals to unlock new hatcheries and areas. Getting quests from the town's citizens was also fun, and I enjoyed the pet laboratory where you mix different eggs to create new species. Every day you can search every area of town that you have access to, for extra items and money that the citizens have dropped, and you can talk to them for extra hints, quests and pieces of the storyline. There are also several vendors for pets, eggs and other items.
But it is rather fast paced; the monsters are many and require many slaps even with upgraded weapons, and they don't stop harming your pets while you fight them - which often results in your pet getting killed even though you slap all you can at the monster. They also starve rather quickly, so while you're busy fighting the monsters, your pets may die because you can't feed them fast enough.
As you advance to new areas, you'll be able to buy upgrades and helpers that can collect eggs, feed pets, fight monsters etc, so that helps a bit.
Getting enough money is quite hard because of the low prices of the eggs, the low hatching ratio of about 1/10 - 1/20, and the very high prices of the required keys you need to buy to open new areas. On my 50th day I still only had 2000 gold, two hatcheries and two town areas open (of total 4 areas and 4 hatcheries) - but the last 30 days got easier as you'll finally start getting access to helpers etc.
I found this highly enjoyable though, and have created several users to try various tactics for reaching the money goals. Lovely little gem of a game! :)
I recommend this game!
