This game is a lot of fun, until the last 4 towns. Being attacked so brutally that you have NO CHANCE to build-up a proper defence, because you aren't going to have any money, or not being able to fix anything for the SAME REASON is NOT fun. There's challenging, and then there's ridiculous.
You're set-upon by hoard after hoard after hoard of monsters. You have no chance to repair anything, and they are so numerous, that you cannot fight them off.
That just sucks. I'm not sure why devs don't build in a more casual mode than this sort of insanity. If it weren't for that single issue, I'd give this a glowing rating, but this ruins a game that you put so much time and energy into. I have gold trophies galore, even on the 6th and 5th towns before the end. They took two tries to get them going, but that is fun. Being nailed so hard that you cannot win isn't fun. I thought this was more of a building game and less of a war game. Seems I was wrong.
The reason for the single star is the nonsense trying to find a way to close the game. This is the same old, tired linear collection game. Can you people think of something new?

Cute little game. Very much like Adelantado series.
First of all: the Britons DROVE the Celts back into Wales and Scotland. I see from the reviews that this is no longer common knowledge. Sad that. It's so annoying to read that kind of ignorance, that I'm no longer reading your storyline text. That is a basic 5 minute research issue.
Second of all: who was the twizzle stick, who built in the dimming mode for the RELAXED mode????? Seriously??? That dimming function is CRAP at any time. At least build in a switch to disable it.

I liked the first one a bit better, to be honest, but this one is good, too. This is a very relaxed, but addictive, little adventure-style game. You gather resources, barter, and help people, all with the goal of finding your sister, who's been kidnapped by naughty pirates (not Jack Sparrow, mind). Some objects may be hard to spot, depending upon your screen resolution, but the devs did make concessions to that in this one.
Suggest you give it a try, unless you're a total adrenaline junkie, in which case, this may not be the right game for you, although, then again, it might be.

Yes, this is not a time management game. I'm sure the developers had problems finding a suitable classification. I would have called it "adventure". There's a lot of running back and forth, trading, collecting herbs, eggs, mushrooms, fishing, helping people and more. You're searching for your father, who has been kidnapped along the road, after a couple of bandits burned down your homestead for no apparent reason. They seem to be terrorizing the region in general, so I'll be interested to know what they want with "my" bag-of-bones father. One hopes he can spin straw into gold. :-P
This game is either going to appeal to you or it won't. I'm not sure there is a lot of middle ground here. Objects are sometimes small on your screen, depending on monitor size. Devs were generous with gold. There's still some frustrating points, like where the devil do you buy baskets??? I'm sure that once I reach a town, or even a proper village, that might resolve itself.
Wow! Graphics glitched and hatching takes nearly a half-hour

I clicked "Settings" from the fish tank screen. After that, everything looked like it really was in a fish tank. Fish need 24 minutes to hatch. Trial version is 60 minutes. I'm not really looking for a game where I have to spend all day trying to breed more fish. Not my cup of tea.
Win 8 Dual-core - Intel Pentium B980 Maybe glitch is processor related; maybe graphic card; maybe game glitch Spare laptop, just says Intel Graphic Device - must be on-board
2nd level. If you cannot make a gold rating at 2nd level, the game is insane. I played on. The house you are decorating looks like Helen Keller must live there. Your "mini-games" are "pick 1 object without a match from 5 objects" or "pick 2 matching earrings from 5 or 6" over and over and over again! You start out with one blow-dry station, with no chance to have a 2nd one at 2nd level. Darned near every customer that walks through the door wants to be serviced at that blow-drying station. You have only 2 chairs. Of course you will lose customers!
I had high hopes. This definitely needs tweaking.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a cute game that is fun. If you want to be stressed out completely, play it. The time limits for levels are insanely stupid from level 3. There is no relaxed mode. Sad, because other than this, I think it would be a fun game. After working a 44+ hour work week, taking care of 12 rabbits and 3 children, I want to play, not stress myself out. No fun if you have to kill yourself to get a gold rating from level 3.
I don't recommend this game.

I love to play this, because I can either spend the whole day doing it over and over in different modes (timed or untimed), or just pop in, play a couple of levels and pop back out.
You are the Railroad owner's niece. You're trying to improve the Railroad from one side of the land to the other, so as not to lose the Railroad to the bank. You can increase your number of workers by upgrading the office building, and you must repair various buildings, along with clearing the railroad tracks, in order to get the Railroad to turn a profit again. It is obvious that a foreign-speaker wrote the dialogue, but the English is definitely good enough to understand without straining yourself.
The downside for me is that if I've played through on a profile once, when I play through on that profile again and quit, then come back, I cannot see where I left off.
I highly recommend this game as a way to pass the time.
I recommend this game!

This game has excellent potential. Sadly, as soon as you reach the match game, they decided to make each card you choose (always 2 at a time) flicker incessantly before turning back over. This makes the game not well suited for people with epilepsy. Sadly, I will not be able to recommend the game.
