This is one of the few series, along with Weatherlord and some others, that I really enjoy. This time Zeus has been kidnapped by Poseidon who plans to win the election (not sure THAT makes sense) and flood Mt. Olympus to the ground.
This is not a lot different than the other games in the series... move obstacles, build things, acquire things, find hidden things and do bonus puzzles and levels.
The one thing I really like this time is the new music. It is so much fun to listen to that I don't even turn it off! ha ha. I played the demo and bought this, although I have to be honest and say that I don't know what makes this a CE yet.
Try it - if you liked the others, you will probably like this one too!
This was a wonderful follow up to the original Incredible Dracula. It was fun on so many levels. The story has evolved with the Princess and Dracula heading out to stop the cell phone inventor that is keeping everyone glued to their evil pumpkin phones - ha ha. The characters are great, the challenges are familiar but just enough different to make you work for the results you get.
So many times, sequels try to outdo themselves and just end up creating something that people don't really want to do. But I loved the changes in this one, including the collectibles. Although, I do miss the little meow sound you got on the original with the little black cats.
I hope they keep doing this series if they do it as well as these last two! Thanks guys - Great work!
I recommend this game!

Raxx: The Painted Dog
Help Raxx return home from the drawing world! Using magic crayons, alter the landscape and help him on his arduous journey!
Well, I really liked the story line, and I think this could have been a really fun little game.
You play a "real" dog that gets sucked into a cartoon land and you need to find your way out, and that requires a helping hand. Or Pencil, Or eraser. All told, you need some help.
The idea is that you need to draw the things that Raxx needs to move forward, and that wasn't that hard.
The problem comes in with a glitch of some sort that, once you draw the item, you switch to a hand to move Raxx. But the line, or whatever you've drawn, moves a lot of the time and switching back to the eraser or pencil became impossible without exiting from the game and re-entering that level. If it weren't for that, I would have rated it a little higher, but it will still not be a genuine challenge for most players.
I don't recommend it by much

F.A.C.E.S. Collector's Edition
When a medical consultation goes terribly wrong, it’s up to you to realize the full potential of your ability and save the day!
I actually don't like Hidden Object Games that well. They seem a little frustrating to me, but I don't mind them as long as they are not the main portion of the game. In this one, however, there are just too many.
I love the storyline. It is really creepy to think about a supposed hospital torturing it's patients, even though we know it used to happen pretty routinely, especially in asylums. And the visuals and sound are really good too. I don't even mind the somewhat linear play and the multiple trips to the elevator.
The only reason for the four stars is the "every new corner / scene, a new HOG". It just gets time consuming and boring after a while.
On the other hand, knowing what to do with the objects you find, and the mini-games, are for the most part enjoyable.
If you don't mind HOGs, you will really enjoy this game.
I'm a big fan of Weather Lord and have enjoyed each one of them so far. What's fun about this one is that while it is much the same, with sun, wind and whatever totems, the buildings are different, and the bonuses are too. It is so much fun to me to be in familiar territory without it being boring.
The storyline is familiar too, as yet another princess disappears. (I do start to wonder about the Royal Lineage if they are all at that much risk - or maybe their heroes are 'just that good".).
The music is fine, they make some noises they really don't need to, and the graphics are good too. I'm not entirely sure about the level of challenge because I always play on untimed to start with while I get used to the interface, but so far it seems like there is a fair amount to do and that is the reason for the four stars.
If you are Weather Lord fan too, than you should like this as much as the others. Enjoy! I know I am!
I recommend this game!

Prehistoric Tales
Bring an ancient world to vibrant life as you build and protect a fledgling settlement!
Prehistoric Tales is an interesting combination of things - familiar, different, old, and new.
The sounds and functions are a lot like Wild Tribe with a Virtual Villagers similarity. On the other hand, none of those required battle, and this one does. The battles are okay - So far I have outnumbered and outmanned my opponents - and I've found that it is more fun to let them auto-play for the battles.
The music is soothing, and while this does not require you to clear roads to get resources, you still have to click on the resources to collect them. I think I was offered an option on one of my upgrades for an auto-collect type of thing, but passed on it for something more like defense ability.
The graphics are good and the storyline is okay, but I am used to moving the story along a lot faster. Some goals, like trading 55 times have taken me a while to meet because I don't like some of the "deals" the traders are offering.
I'm at a Level 11 (not sure how high it goes), and so far the level of challenge has not been that tough to meet, but it may increase as I go along.
Overall, I am really enjoying the game, but like I said, just wishing I could move it along a little faster.
Okay, I have to admit that I am only on Level 20 or so, but I am LOVING this game. The graphics and sounds are great, the storyline is intriguing, and the little "baby room" bonus is almost an afterthought, but still fun.
I am playing the first time through on untimed because I enjoy it more than the stress of trying to win before I know the "interface", but it is a load of fun. Things change between levels allowing you to modify what resources you need or want, and you can frequently switch them back as needed.
In short - it is just a lot of fun, and on the untimed levels at least, relaxing and enjoyable. I hope you like it too!
I recommend this game!

Imperial Island: Birth of an Island was a lot of fun. I've played it couple of times.
What I liked the most is the building portion - building the empire as you win the resources. I enjoyed the various events, like pirates attacking, and I thought the graphics were good, the music was fine and the occasional HOG was good too. I liked it overall

Your Doodles Are Bugged
A magic explosion in the studio of Doodleus the Master Doodler has hexed his pet bugs into his doodles!
with more than a small helping of challenge. I love this game - it is as simple as that. It is cute, funny, and more than anything, challenging to play. Others have recounted the story line, so I will just say that I don't care that the graphics are cartoonish - or more properly, doodelish - they are just fun. And it requires a different way of thinking to complete each level.
If you liked Professor Fizzwizzle and others similar, you will likely like this one too. I hope you at least give the free demo a try. It is tougher than you think it will be. Enjoy!

The Silent Age
Help Joe discover the truth behind humankind's extinction! Can a simple janitor and literally, "the average Joe," save humankind?
I really, really like this game. The artwork is simple but well done and the challenge is really good. You have to think about what you are doing instead of just clicking everywhere. Some things are intuitive and some are not. The music is fine and there are no HOGs (YAY!!!!). It is just a "simple" adventure game in the old style.
It is very linear, and you cannot just "go around" an area until you complete what you need to do. I like the story line and the snarky hero (a lot of smart comments, especially when you do something "stupid".) Ha ha
I don't want to give anything away here, but there is a trick to the game that makes it a little unique too. Overall, I am just having a great time. It's a little spooky and a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy it too!
BTW - If you are looking for the current HOG trend games with HOGs every two steps and mini-games, this may not be the one for you. But I am a little tired of those, so this was a refreshing change.
