Moai II seems to be a combination of The Beardless Wizard and The Musketeers - Victoria's Quest (I didn't finish either game). Doesn't really seem like a sequel to the first Moai, which was a great game. The story uses the same characters, so i guess that's what makes it a sequel.
The replay of the "bonus" level (ie...same level, different goals) gets repetitive very quickly. To me, it seems like lazy game development to extend the game. The "change your outfit for bonus upgrades" is more irritating than it's worth. You not only have to replay the level to get gold but then several times if you don't wear the right outfit. Drives me insane. But if you like that stuff, then this game is definitely for you.
There is no relax mode but you can still play at your own pace to finish the level and continue on. Story, graphics, and music are very good. Fun characters. Can be quite challenging at times. The timer runs super fast on a lot of levels. It's a decent enough TM game, just not one I would buy. Definitely give it a try to see if it suits you. For me, this game is a pass. :(

The reason I'm giving 4 stars is this is a pretty decent game overall. Smooth gameplay and very nice graphics. Storyline is almost nonexistant and this game is very easy and very short. That being said, I think this is more geared toward children due to the simplicity of the game. So the avid TM player will probably not care for this game. There is a timed and relaxed mode. But even the timed mode is not really a challenge for anyone who has played a couple of TMs. Great if you wanna relax or if you have young children. My grandkids really liked it too.
I recommend this game!

This is no TM game as it is listed. More of a HOG/Puzzle. But none of that matters. It's not worth the time to DL/install/uninstall. I prefer a TM game; but also enjoy a good HOG and the occasional Puzzle game. But I lost interest after 15 minutes and uninstalled.
I don't recommend this game.
Dive into the Tropical Mania! Your guests will keep you jumping as you bring out snacks, beverages, and keep them happy!

I remember playing this game years ago. It seems that BF may have only offered this game in the Mac version way back then (I think around 2008). That being said, it was an alright game then and it still is...if you enjoy retro games games today. When the game was released, I would have given it a much better rating; even though I have never been very good at the Dash-type games.
There really isn't a storyline and it's a mad dash to serve customers, upgrade the resort, and buildings. Since I'm not a very fast clicker, this game is very challenging to get all gold. There's definitely nothing new here; but back in the day...it was a refreshing change from the Dash series.
Should this game have been released as a "new" release? Probably not. Maybe as a special "Throwback" or "Nostalgia" game would have been better; and definitely not at full price.
I would recommend this game to those that enjoy the old-time dash games and have a coupon or wait for a sale. Just keep in mind that this game was launched over 6 years ago.

If you like the Timebuilders series, you'll like Deco Fever. Yeah, the story is a bit silly; but, hey, I like silly! It does take some strategy to get gold (and a little help from the eggs!).
When I first looked at the game & video, I wasn't even gonna try it; but then I checked the forum. CheerfulDragon8's post lists the similarities with Timebuilders, so I had to try it. Glad I did because I love the game.
I would definitely recommend this game!
