I absolutely loved the first “Beyond game”. The second was an excellent gameplay, but wasn’t thrilled by the story. This one – somewhere in the middle. Ok, guys, graphics excellent as usual with this dev. Music, voiceovers – perfect. HO – a lot and really varied with some unusual bits. So what’s wrong? Why not a 5-star?
I read somewhere that the main consumers of casual games are middle aged women. I am sort of in that category, though my teenaged daughters love to play as well. My main complain? Listen, people, we are sick and tired of saving our children or teeming with our relatives (brothers or sisters). All of us blessed with kids of whatever age are saving them on a daily basis. Nor from monsters but from plenty of other quite realistic disasters.
We are having to deal with our relatives almost every day and giving my all to save my long lost brother is not necessarily the most exciting thing. Yep, I don’t mind saving the world, but could I please have some romance in the picture? Handsome dude from another galaxy might do the trick. Or I really like playing as a man. I have been a woman all my life, thank you very much, give me something different.
Actually all these feelings are entirely shared by me teen daughters. So, devs, please, hire good strategy guides, make some research about your market and for goodness sake, hire some imaginative storytellers!
Or I shall be stuck replaying my old favourites, which is ok for me, but gives you no more revenues!
I recommend this game!

Ok, i am not talking about the actual game play, see for yourselves. Sufficient to say that puzzles are not too challenging, but rather inventive and HOP are very well integrated in the plot. I can see why this game could be not to everyone's taste, but if you have any interest in Scandinavian sagas, like I do you will enjoy it. it is slow all right but totally gripping and a good attention for detail, Not sure that the vikings had bolt cutters, but for me this is a minor setback, I suggest that you try but dont expect anything to happen too quickly. I just hope that this is not the last one in the series, You have to play to the end to see why i think it might be so.
I recommend this game!

I really wonder at myself why do I bother to buy games by any other developers, but Mad Head. Almost every time I am tempted by other games and series (with very few exceptions) I feel cheated. Yes, by all means, some of the puzzles have been recycled, some objects in HOP migrate from game to game, and sometimes it feels that this developer as well as the others ran out if ideas. But thees feelings last no longer than I try some other games. It is just like changing a Lamborghini for a Ford. Yep, I might not like the color, but the overall quality is simply exceptional. I am sure that you have read the other reviews as to plus and minuses of the game, but this is my overall feeling. So even if you are not a great fan of fantasy games, at least give it a try. O, and better start with the first one: The Queen of Flames. Absolutely worth it.
I recommend this game!

I agree with many previous reviewers that this game is not for everyone, Logic definitely isn't strong. but the entertainment factor from my personal point of view terrific, Firstly, I really love Scandinavian sagas and mythology, Secondly, music and voice-overs were spot on, And finally the different worlds were indeed beautifully and differently drawn, Obviously there were several ridiculous things like screwdrivers at the time of the vikings or an elevator in Valhalla, but I am quite ready to forgive the developers for that. Epix recently was going speedily downhill and this game was a pleasant surprise. So try it at least, for me that was a definite buy, Hope that the next instalment will not disappoint.

The Mad Head has done it again: gripping, innovative, beautifully executed. Once I started playing just couldn't stop, which trust me is very rarely the case with me. I really struggle to find faults and the only one I can seriously think of: not VERY challenging puzzles. Try it guys, at least try, it might not be your cup of tea, but even in that case you will know what the old and somewhat tiered HOPA could be like. Just hoping that there will be more episodes.
I recommend this game!

That is the most original, beautifully presented, amazing game! Probably the level of challenge was not up to the most demanding taste, but the originality with which it was executed from my point of view compensates for that! I am not telling you what it all was about, but strongly recommend that you at least try, I was waiting for this game to find its way to Big Fish and wasn't disappointed. just hope that the last 2 chapters will come soon,
I recommend this game!

Usually I have a problem: the games I love my 16 years old twin daughters find boring. Guess what? They want romance. Not mother saving a child, aunt - a niece, or even husband - a wife, but something which is developing over the course of the game. So their favorite so far was "Beyond, The light advent". Now they got the second favorite from the same devs. And I loved it for all the different reasons: great gameplay, fantastic graphics, challenging, but not excessively, puzzles, and the most important point: I couldn't envisage how the story will develop which very often is pretty obvious. So well done Mad Head! Thank you for a family reunion))
I recommend this game!

It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

i dony usually write reviews, but absolutely had to this time! Elephant ganes are my absolutr favourite, Nothing of the sacharin sweetness ERS keep producing recently. storyline is good and though the usual good v evil, the elements of si-fi are amusing, though slightly reminesent of x-files) you have the collection items, HOP scenes are slightly cluttered but managable and graphics definitely well thought off. not sure though how men gamers willl react to this "mommy saving family" staff, but overall very ejoyable. my teen daughters absolutely loved it! always share all the new games with them! so enjoy! Puzzles out of the common way btw) Very good!
I recommend this game!
