I loved the CE but it's a tight $ month so I've been waiting for the SE to arrive. It's a very interesting story to rescue your favorite animals and discover how this involves a minotaur and a couple other nasties. The artwork is beautiful and no dark gloomy scenery. Extra cleaver that these cute magic animals give you some bonus help.
I've found 1 of the little guys during the trial hour so I'll be buying this right now to continue the search. Enchanting!

Very goods game, great artwork, creepy caracters like game !. I liked the 1st Phantasmat more so waited for the SE to come out to buy this one. Buying a game involving a snow covered resort in January seems like way to much snow right now but after playing the trial version I don't want to wait. I'm hopeful it will be as intriging as the first one.
I recommend this game!

Love the other Poe games and this one will be another favorite. I've read many of his stories but I'm not familar with this one so I'm looking forward to exploring the game without comparing to the written story.
Graphics are beautiful and lots of HO's to enjoy.

I played the CE version and quickly forgot about it. First sign! When the SE came out I thought I'd try it again. All I could remember was the creepy clown (not a fan) and the dirty hobo I can almost smell through the computer.
It's listed under HO games but there are none. Graphics o.k. and I thougth the story would be interesting but nothing makes me want to buy this one. Maybe on sale but I doubt it, there are many others I'd rather play.

I didn't try the CE version when it came out but I was drawn to the story and artwork. For some reviews saying it has to many HO's. It is a HO game! If you only want Adventure there are plenty of those. You can't ask of a HO game to be something it isn't.. It's a very nice HO game with an interesting story. I used a game credit to buy right away. There are other new released games that are more adventure but sometimes you want a more easy going game to play with actual HO's. I like it.
I recommend this game!

I was asked to play a test survey for this game a few month ago. I only had a couple issues with it then, mostly a simple problem of several spelling errors in the game directions. It looks like those are fixed now. I was surprised to see how quickly time flies to see little Brandon all grown up now but it's a exciting new story to dive into and I'll enjoy seeing how it plays out past the test hour. I'd recommend all the Grim Tales including this one.

I only bought this game because of the buy one get one free special last week & I have all the other MCF games. I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't FREE. It's very boring and the story doesn't seem to go anywhere. The live characters are overpowering & not necessary. I don't know what has happened to the MCF.The last one wasn't much better than this. The exciting heart seems to be lost from MCF. They need a HO to find it again.

The only reason I have not bought this game in CE is because of earlier reviews commenting on how short they felt it was. I loved it, but value for money I'll wait for the SE or possibly on a special weekend sale. If it was released last week during the buy 1 get 1 free special, I wouldn't have hesitated.
I loved the gorgeous artwork and the unique story finding the lost animals.BUT I always sigh "oh no, not again" when I see the bad guy as "evil witch". Some of the designers need more creative ideas. Not everything bad in the world, even a magical world is the fault of an evil witch but this is so beautiful and charming I'll reserve judgement on that.

Interesting story, intriguing enough to buy after finishing the trial to see what happens. Beautiful scenery. Voice over on the interactive characters as well as written dialog is helpful. Quick go to map is a bonus but it doesn't show any needed activity just your location but that's o.k., it's more challenging than being spoon fed the answers by telling you exactly where to go.
It's worth buying.

I thougth it seemed familiar, than I remembered one of the Big Fish survey I did a while ago just called Cinderella. I gave that a good review and I made it a little farther in this 1hr trial. I like the fairie tale story games with a twist. I'll have to get this game to see how it plays out. Not as challanging and detailed as the Dark Parables games like Red Riding Hood Sisters or Exiled Prince but it's seems like it will be a sweet fairie tale love story.
I recommend this game!
