~HOS... You find parts of an item that finally make up the completed Item. I like much better than traditional HOS.

CONS:
~HOS scenes are repeated and plentiful. A little bit more than I would prefer.
~Map is not interactive. Cannot jump to locations.

The pros out weigh the cons and the game deserves 5 stars and I definitely recommend it.

I am not completely finished with this game.. What I gather is there is a tree (Driad) that makes wishes come true if one is pure of heart or you get turned into a Driad..
I am still searching for the missing children. Story line is great and keeps you continuing to want to solve the mystery. Some of the children had taunted and made fun of another child. So, are they pure of heart?
Pros:
Sufficiently Eerie - Trees coming to life (love that)

Great Graphics a little blurry when it comes to the animated parts (which helps keep the file size down).
Cool areas, especially the tree houses.

I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 because:
Cons:
Hidden Object areas... I get tired of sitting there and finding objects that I don't need to just end up with the one object that i do need. What I really hate is having to go back to the same Hidden object area and researching it and you will be doing this often. Still the game is definitely worth buying.

cute characters and land.
I like games like this. Where there are no timers.. just a management type of game.. Relaxing.. No clicking as fast as you can to try to keep up with a timer.. thank goodness. Big plus.
You can also sort your characters by mood or how hungry they are.
You can move a character to do something else like pick up trash and then just click on an icon in your menu bar to send them someplace else.

Cannot buy helpers when I want even though I have the money.
Cannot build houses and place them where I want too...
Hand holding.. follow and complete tasks as given. And, build or repair things when told and have enough tech points and money to do so.

I want more freedom... I want to decide where I want to plant corn. etc.. I want to be more included in the fixing of the mansion instead of it just happening. I do get to gather stained glass fragments. I want to explore and try different areas and try to figure out what i need to do or who i need to put on the project to get it done... It is a very linear game in that aspect.. Way to much hand holding.. So, I am disappointed but I still like the game at the same time.So, I may buy it this weekend on the special deal.
Please Devs... More freedom, More non-linear game play, More Mystery, More problem solving... This game could be so much more fun. Still deserves 4 stars though in my opinion.. Could of been a 5 star game.

This game looked great.. but I feel disappointed.
Hog.. I found several items which is clear and clean type of Hog.. But when i finish I get a handle for a hammer. Never found that on the list, just end up with it. Tired of Hogs though and I enjoy adventure type stories.
Also, Tired of having to find keys to open the doors - I like mini-games or other ways to open doors. And, the sound affect for trying to open every locked door and drawer including a jewelry box is the same. This really annoyed me for some reason.

Also, No map is a negative. I just feel like I went back in time on this one.. literally and not in a good way. games have come further than this one.
I really Think there are people that will love this game and the graphics are well done. It is a "pretty" game. But, it is too boring for me. This is based on the trial only.. don't think I will ever buy it.. maybe on a 2.99 sale.

I am not finished with the game.. and I read that the SE leaves you feeling that the game is unfinished. I don't know yet. But, I do know that I am truly enjoying the game. I like the real actors.. I like the creepy feeling to the game. I like the storyline with the gangsters.. it looks and feels different from other games. Glad it is not about Vampires.. haha.. I like the old fashion clothes and the old cars. I like the mini-games and finding the shadow of objects and using them . better than a regular HOG..
I like realistic games.. and this one fall a little short of that! I do things behind one of the gangsters back including getting him a new cup of coffee with something to put him out! And he drinks it... This part of the scene was disappointing. not realistic.. But, putting this corniness behind - I am loving the game and would give it 6 stars if I could. Of course I have the SE version and don't know how it ends yet.

A feast for your eyes.. Beautiful landscapes etc. What I really love about this game is the adventure and using everything that you find, including a few scenes of finding fragmented items. But, these are all used in putting a scene back together.
Interesting sounds go from soft music to wind blowing. I only have one complaint the story line.. You have to find crystals to save your sister (I think that is who it is).. See the story-line doesn't hold my interest.
I still give this game 5 stars - because I loved and wish more games were like it.
I am glad you can skip puzzles.. because I don't like "simon says" type of games. It had one of those in it.
I recommend this game!

I am taking my time and enjoying this game.
Positives.. The game is very long and I am still not finished. The game is mostly adventure type with a few hidden objects... Which is great, because I would prefer all adventure.

In the HOS requires you use items that you have found elsewhere to solve the interactive parts in the Hidden object scenes. Interesting, had me stumped at first. Which, means sometimes you cannot finish a HOS and have to go back to the adventure part of the game to find knitting needles or whatever and then go back and finish the HOS.

I recommend this game!
Match tokens to unlock incredible riches in The Treasures of Montezuma 3! With 160 levels to beat, you could be in the jungle for months!

Super addictive - TOUGH Game even though i have it on casual. I am on the Fifth door. Love the power ups... Do not like the game giving me a match option if i wait to long. This is not from the power up option. And, i can't opt out of it. It is distracting..
Other-wise.. beautiful graphics, game ran good.. just a lot of FUN.. and normally i am not a great fan of Match 3

Almost didn't try it.. This is a great game.. Everything you find - you use it. I love that.. It allows me to just enjoy the adventure, Instead of having to stop and find several different things in a scene just to get one item. This is definitely on my to-buy list.
I recommend this game!

I was irritated at first.. A lot of dialogue pop ups.. But, that gets better. Then i was hooked. Had to finally turn it off last night - so i can go to sleep. But, i didn't want to! LOVE IT!!!
