the music is ghastly! Fortunately, it can be turned off. The game itself is a little late considering it's about a girl who saves Christmas. The graphics are just okay, but the gameplay is fun and kept my attention. It's challenging without being impossible. All in all, it's a good buy if you have a coupon. I wouldn't spend money on it.

I don't know what else can be said. It's an ugly game that harkens back to the early 2000s at best. The challenge is completely absent. I wonder where Big Fish dug this up.
I'm sorry. I wanted to love this game and be swept up in it, but I was so disappointed, I didn't make it past rescuing the boy from the basement. The added bonuses for a CE game are usually achievements and morphing/hidden items in each scene. I think I found one "hidden item" that appeared to be a pencil tip completely by accident because their idea of CE differs vastly from mine. I wasn't challenged (even though my settings promised I would be), and more importantly, I wasn't impressed. Sorry, Big Fish. Your usual weekend sale will not be as successful this week as it was last weekend when the game you were selling then was really cool. This game...well, I'm going to just pass on it.
The 8 minutes I slogged through did nothing to impress me. I have no idea why the game makers thought this would be a good idea. Boring, goofy and pointless. A definite "No!"
I deleted this game after less than five minutes into the trial. Then I felt guilty. What if I didn't give it a fair chance? So I redownloaded it & started over hoping to be wrong. Nope. It's still terrible. I don't know if Big Fish just rediscovered it in their vault & threw it out there for cheap sales or if they too felt guilty for not giving it a chance. Suffice it to say, I lasted less than 10 minutes after the reattempt. This game is just amateurish & bad. The first scene is one of those irritating "its & bits" HOBs that force you to look for tiny bits of each missing item then once you finally find all the pieces & put them where they belong, you're led to a tiny, rather embarrassingly easy match-3 game. The game itself is easier to play that it is to explain how much I hated it.
I loved the first Viking Saga, and the second one is even better. However, while this version offers the option to make the cute little Vikings stop repeating the same 4-5 phrases over and over 'til you want to choke the cute little Vikings into unconsciousness, the option doesn't actually work. You can click "Disable voices" 'til the cows come home, but those darn little guys are just going to ignore that check mark & keep on yammering. Please, please, Big Fish, upload a fix for this glitch. I can't turn the sound off without missing other little cues like the fish bell ringing or rocks falling.

I fell in love with this game after about 7 minutes of demo-play. The graphics are beautiful, the storyline is interesting, and it has all the things I look for when deciding between a CE and waiting for the SE - an interactive map that let's you jump to locations, collector's items, achievements and, best of all, customizable difficulty settings. I can't say enough to recommend this game!
I liked the first one, the second one is even better

I love this game. It's fun, challenging and bright. The concept is somewhat similar to the Farm Frenzy games, but it's visually completely different. It's good fun, and that's getting to be rare in TM games.
