Have the original so was curious as to what, if any, changes had been made; downloaded the trial. Fifteen minutes in it stopped. Closed out and restarted. Five minutes later it stopped. By now I noticed really nothing new, so between restarting and getting the same game as I had, this is a no purchase. Come-on BF, your standard of game play is decreasing and therefore I have not bought a new game in a long, long, time.

Played the demo for about 45 minutes but lost interest. Two puzzles were great but the HOS and other "games" were not. Would like to play a different game which utilizes characters from other games. This was the "hook" that got me to try it after reading other submissions. This game showed it is possible to create something new and surprising.
Played this follow-up game to see where the story was going to take me and enjoyed every minute of it. Great story line and graphics. Some HOP's and games were easy while a couple others were hard only because I never understood exactly what I was supposed to do. With a little more input on advice, this game would be one of the best I have played recently. Hope these developers continue with this outstanding presentation.
Have owned this game for a long time and have played several times....but it had been a while! Thought I would add an update review. Glad there was a guide as I would never had gotten thru the game on my own. Towards the end I would loved to have a map that transported you as I had no idea where some of the rooms where (and there are a lot of rooms). Not sure if there were 22 morphing items as I only found 12 (and that was with the help of the guide). Some items are identified with weird names. Example: a scissors jack is called a level. Also the HOP's are very dark and the items very difficult to find. Used the HINT a lot and still could not see the item, but just clicked in the indicated area and there it was. Enjoyed the game flow and story line but I seldom use volume in my games as it adds nothing for me. After rediscovering this game, will look for others by this developer (which I probably own and don't know!).

Found the game and mini games to be different and entertaining. Level just right to enjoy without tearing my retreating hair out. Story was the typical somebody kidnapped by a something and you must save them. I recommend as a fun game to lay back and enjoy.
I seldom write reviews but was intrigued by the reported difficulty this game presented. Having many games which I have played way too many times, I thought I would at least try Subject 13. I admit I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I did not get past the opening screen. I like a challenge, but this was too much for me but judging by the 5 star reviews, others loved it. I can neither recommend or not as please try it with out being influenced by any reviews. Look forward to what others say.
Have had this game for some time and actually finished one out of the three times I played (second time). Tried it again for the third time and it is not fun...... The "help" really isn't and without specific instructions for the simplest of things (putting the zip line together for instance) it is easy to get frustrated and quit. Instructions like "follow the guide" to not help in getting any of the pieces together. I know I did it once, but apparently my advanced years prevent me from having the patience to keep trying and trying and, oh you get it. A game on "easy" should be fun and relaxing; this isn't. Try at your own risk.
I don't recommend this game.

Never did understand what was going on in the first "segment" of the game. Had little idea of what was to happen or what to do so used the hint far more than I normally do. Several of the mini-games were confusing so skipped... I never skip unless I find them too easy or too confusing (how many times do you find a game with inadequate instructions??). Should have tried the trial first but after playing 2 GREAT CE games thought I could do no wrong.... Can not recommend.

Having the original 3 Ravenhearst games, I wanted to keep going with the 4th. Found it to be as great as the others. The multi-action puzzles where just difficult enough to be challenging requiring some thought and time but never requiring the use of the skip, hint, or guide. I hope it's possible to have a 5th and maybe, just maybe, bring some of the original characters back (as ghosts??). I really enjoyed the credits....very funny and worth the time to read!!

I have had the CE edition for some time but not played it a second time until now. It is a great game with lots of hidden object scenes and puzzles. I was having a difficult time going through all the scenes to get to the one I needed and was about to complain there was no map....found the map by accident when I clicked on the "sea horse" for the first time and there was the map! So now back to my one madding complaint; when going between scenes expect to wait 5 to 9 seconds with a black screen. This includes moving up or down which is why I got frustrated before I found the map. If you use the map the black screen interruptions are greatly reduced (obviously) and this game is less upsetting and far more satisfying.
