I really enjoyed this game. You can select 5 different levels of difficulty so if your good at these and want the challenge so it doesn't bore you, so to speak, pick your appropriate level of play so you enjoy it too! Graphics are good, nothing breathtaking but not the highlight. You play the character as seen thru his eyes and memories. The hidden objects are not the normal HO play. You move stuff and usually its a silouette in most of them to get the one object you need for the next step. The murder mystery is not a difficult one to figure out but they do leave the heart of the matter for the killer for reveal about midway. The puzzles are mostly simple, they are mainly for next step or to gain an object you need. At a couple points you have to fight and follow some steps to win the altercation. Again it will depend on the level of difficulty you choose. Casual I found was TOO easy as it guides you constantly. It's the type of game I love but I'd never played this developer's games before. I'm going to check the other Ghost files game and see how it is next hoping its as fun for me. Also the game didnt take me as long as most games do (maybe I had more time with the Coronavirus-19 quarantine and didnt notice) so definitley play the demo before buying. There is a bonus chapter after completing the game but it was shorter than I thought. It back tracks to how you (the detective) had a little loss of memory, concussion, whatever so another mystery to solve. Don't want to give too many more details so my apologies if my review is too basic but hope my opinion helps a little ;-) Happy Fishing!! ---Sandy
I love all HO games but this one has sooo many different things to do that you can play for hours! I love all the storyline games, especially Elephant games, and would love to see another version like this one too! Definitely try the free hour I think you will enjoy it enough to buy it. It qualifies as one of your free games using the stamps if you need more than an hour. There are many things to do besides just HO so give this game a chance!!
I have all the Dream Day games but this one has its own unique way. It's a great story and its not so repetitive as most can be. After you play the main event you go on and play the next level which most people seem to assume is the same maybe harder, but its actually got its own style. The games and decorating the house, yard, and dealing with crisis all are fun, the graphics all the way through are great and this has me so hooked I've played it about 3 times. It takes a long time to get thru one time so its not disappointing in any way. Hope its enjoyed by as many as I.
Fun game, great graphics, good storyline... nice relaxing h/o game. Love the other Dream Day games too, especially the Home and the las vegas wedding. Start with this one though. Enjoy!!
I have not played the bonus game yet but first let me say that I am an Elephant Games fan, and they worked hard on this one in my opinion! MANY different things to search for, no back and forth constantly, great graphics, sounds, mini puzzles all different and does make you think in a very interesting and fun way. The story line is good. This game has of course the levels of casual up to hard and I had so much fun I will probably play it again with a different level while things are not too fresh in my mind. EXCELLENT job Elephant Games on this one!! Play with sound ( I never play with the music), some things you have to look hard for. In addition you do have the extra things to look for like the morphing objects among other things I wont spoil for now, but in this game they make looking for those things fun. At least try the demo.....I don't think you will be disappointed if your a fan of Elepahant, like creepy games, puzzles, and HOS. You do have a map to move around but because theres not much back and forth it comes in handy more for the odd objects you might want to look for as mentioned earlier. Good Luck fellow Fishys!!! ---Sandy
I actually enjoy these kinds of games.. Interesting story line, (didnt say this one was perfect), some useful Hidden Object scenes, pretty graphics, I just like the games that have something to work up to.. solving problems, saving someone, murder mysteries, etc.. just never know if its like that til' you play it. This one has some Demons, werewolfs and vamps...no major repeat scenes, puzzles/putting things together for use in the game, etc.. Its not as long as I thought it was going to be. All in all I enjoyed it! For hardcore players..you might think it not challenging enough.
I LOVE the HO games that have an actual storyline and gives you some mysteries to solve along the way. I have played all the James Patterson games that are out and enjoy the variety of playing different characters to solve the story. Hidden Object scenes were fun, mini puzzles were a nice challenge, if you dont like them you have the option to skip, graphics are good, and the game is just the right size, not a huge file but big enough. I was able to find another game similar to these, Elizabeth Find, MD. was kinda like these. If anyone knows of any others like these games and have my similar interest please let me know! ;-) In any case I highly recommend this game, but if your all about ONLY hidden object searches, I would try the one hour free time before buying it.
