I've loved all the Viking series from this developer. In this game, I played several levels and had no trouble completing the levels in the normal time. Haven't tried the "hard" level yet but will. There is a strategy involved (you have to do things in a certain order) and a few levels were played twice to get three stars. Overall, the game is fun, challenging, and well-written with new characters (the birds, for one).
Roads of Rome never disappoints. This verison is fun, challenging and makes you want to play the levels through again. Keep up the great work Whiterra.
Games like these are why I discontinued my BF membership. The graphics are for children, the storyline isn't interesting, and the fun factor is nonexistent. Forget any level of challenge. I'm lucky to see even one decent TM game a month at BF. It seems HO games are their primary target. I want the standards at BF, in particular with its beta testing and TM game quality, to rise. I'd like to renew my membership again.
I've finished all the levels (including CE levels) on this one, except for the Treasure Map Level 2B. I click on it, but nothing happens. All the other treasure map levels work just fine. I think this is a glitch in the game. Are game developers not doing beta testing anymore? I would have given the game five stars otherwise.
This is NOT the quality of a Roads of Rome TM game. The graphics are very poor, the sound is terrible, and I couldn't engage with the storyline. Lots of BF TM games lately have been very disappointing. I am canceling my membership to BF because there are so few good TM games anymore.

Finally, a time management game that's fun, has a point, a good story and that keeps the level of challenge and fun high throughout. Don't know why it hasn't gotten higher reviews when so few really good tm games are being produced. I can highly recommend this game, having played all the similar emergency-type games before. This one ranks right up there with the rest.
I too have enjoyed the Roads of Rome series (have played them all), but found this one fell short of their normal high standards. The extra items (known as caches in previous versions) weren't as fun to find as before, nor as challenging. The game play seemed slower to me than previous versions too, and I didn't find the levels as much of a challenge. I'll probably buy this game, just because lately there seems to be so few offerings of really good time management games lately, but I wish this one was better.

This was okay for a solitaire game, but not as fun as some of them I've played. The mystery scenes were kind of boring, all hidden objects without any real clues or real progress through the scenes, although I only played it for the hour's trial. Didn't uncover any real mysteries, although you do gain objects in your bag that you can use in the scene. You got a lot of jokers (one each hand), and that was nice to keep you playing on, although the jokers were not wild but were keyed to a number or face card. No real surprises in each level, but you did work toward undoes (which I don't use much) and lightning bolts that enabled you to gain objects in the scene. Just not that exciting. Seemed to move slowly.

I was having fun playing this game, but when I got to level 36, it was like the game wouldn't play right. I couldn't build buildings, I couldn't purchase wood. Am I missing something? Is there a glitch in the game?
