At last another TM game that like ROR, or all the Viking games, etc. You gather and chop to build sawmills, farms, etc. so you can complete your tasks. It is a fun and VERY challenging game, not sure I will ever get three stars on every level. You earn points per level that you can use to buy upgrades. There are also hidden treasures on the island. The thing I don't like is there is no multi-click. Each Pirate must return to their "house" in order to do another task. I also don't understand why this is a Collectors Edition. There is no strategy guide, and I don't see that there is a bonus round, but maybe that happens when your done. But, what the hey, it's the kind of TM game I love and the price was right this weekend. More TM games of this kind, please BF. I was starting to go through withdrawal.

I recently bought this game because it was on special. I should have done the demo first, because I wouldn't have wasted my 2.99. This is a REALLY boring game. Level after level is the same thing. And, really easy to get perfects. You win money, but I have yet to see what you can spend it on except cannon balls (wild cards), and you don't need to buy those cause the game gives them to you. And, speaking of the money, It gets a little irritating after awhile having to "scoop" up the money at the bottom of the screen with your cursor. One of the Achievements you can earn is finishing 20 levels. Not sure how many total levels there are, maybe 30-40, but just trying to stay with the game to finish 20 may be a real achievement for me. Soooo glad I didn't use a credit!

This game was just okay. Story line was a little confusing and if I understand, wasn't much of a story. The HO's were a little confusing at times too. One asked for a pencil. Clicked on a pencil, but it wasn't the right one, so had to find another pencil. One wanted you to find a "Durian". Who's ever heard of that??? Don't like games you have to use a dictionary to play. But, got the game on daily special, so really can't complain.
First of all, I am not a fan of HO's where you have to find pieces of items. The hint button recharges quickly, which is good. I found it confusing as to where to go next. You have to drag an inventory item to the hint button and it will show you where it is to be used. However, I found that I had yet to go to a location where the inventory item was to be used, so that was worthless. Another worthless thing is the map. Usually maps will tell you where there is a room that has something in it you need to do. This doesn't (that I could find). Many of the mini games are confusing. Thankfully I bought this game on a half price special. Don't waste your money on this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I found this game a little boring. It's the same old thing screen after screen - eat the little fishes to get bigger. They do have some things thrown in - magic mushrooms, pearls, etc., but basically it's the same thing on each screen. Played about 20 minutes of the demo and couldn't handle any more.

I found this game very confusing - very little instruction on what to do. Finally figured out that you were supposed to build idols to "stop" the raiders. But, even when I upgraded the idols, it took them very little time to destroy them. Sorry, this game was not for me - I couldn't even make it through the trial. Much better games out there. My vote - don't waste your time.
After Shaban's sheep are stolen by thieves, he sets off on an epic adventure to get back what belongs to him. Help Shaban on his journey in this intriguing hidden object adventure game!

I thought this was a fun and challanging game. From reading the reviews, it looked like it stumped a bunch of people. If you're used to playing HOG's where you can rely on the hint button to tell you what to do - this game is not for you. It is like The Tiny Bang Story in that it doesn't give you a lot of help (but more than TTBS). There is a hint button and a map. The map lets you go from place to place. I had to use the hint button to figure out the transporter code #and it was helpful - gives you the first number). I enjoy games like this because I feel we all get too reliant on the hint button on games to tell us what we have to do next. Games like this and TTBS make you think. The only thing I am concerned about is that it only took me around 30 minutes to finish the demo, which makes me worry about the overall length of the game.
Don't feel this game was worth the time. Only played about half of the demo and had to quit because I thought it was boring and was wasting my time. Lots of HO's, that were okay. The puzzles that I played were not challenging at all. I thought the graphics and characters were very amateur. This reminded me of a game thrown together in about 5 minutes. It didn't hold my interest long enough to finish the demo. Sooo many better games out there.
This game has some of the most and most deversified puzzles (mini-games) I have seen in one game. It has the regular HO's, but the puzzles are what I am really having fun with. I bought this, so have plenty of time to spend solving them (the gear one took me 2 hours to figure out). Like I said, I love min-games and this one is worth buying just for the puzzles.
This is not one of the better ones. The HO's are shapes of objects you have to find, rather than the usual. A lot of running back and forth. Didn't run across a mini game in the trial and that was dissapointing. Story line is good though. But, this game is not my cup of tea - will not be buying.
