When I say this is a good game for relaxed play the emphasis is on relaxed. This is a very slow paced game so it will not be for everyone. You have to wait for your people to complete tasks and you cannot queue ahead. Those were my only real complaints. The story isn't bad, I've seen worse graphics and I always shut off the music so non of that really bothered me.
I have seen posts where people said the instructions were bad and I honestly don't know why they think that. When you open it up it gives you your first task and a tutorial box will pop open in the bottom right corner. In that box there is a button that says "show" if you click on this it will take you where you need to go. For example you need to buy tents. If you click show in that box it points you to the store. So I can only think that people are closing this box without clicking the button and that is why they are having problems.
All in all I liked it for something to waste the day.
This is a cute concept that I could have really enjoyed with a few additions. This is a great Match 3 game for beginners or those just looking to waste some time. You are the owner of a new pizza place and you match ingredients to earn money to purchase upgrades. You also earn new ingredients including those that give you helpers as you go. There are three difficulties and I found the normal mode to be very easy. The game could have been a little better if more choices were given. For example you first have to earn $5000 to buy tables but you don't get a choice its just get $5000 and here are your tacky tables. I would have liked to have some options. One thing I did like was the game offers you customers on occasion looking for a specific amount of some ingredients to make their pizza, such as 10 flour and 13 cheese and if you did it in a good amount of time you'd get a bonus but you never know what the reward would be time, points or an extra life. I won't be paying for this game but I think it would be enjoyable for some.
I own the first version of this game and loved it so I was pretty sure I'd like this version also. It is mostly the same with small differences such as the fact that you are protecting Christmas trees rather than strawberries and some of the bugs have winter themed protection. That is also the entirety of the storyline, (protect your trees!) which is why I only gave it 2 stars. The game has 3 different levels of difficulty which I really like. I also really like that it is not just mindless clicking. One level I had to restart 3 times before I figured out the best way for me to place my plants. All in all I think this is a great, fun game that kids and adults will enjoy.
I would say this game is comparable to the Farm Frenzy series but requires more strategy to complete. I also thought that the time limits to collect product and water the crops went by really fast making completing the goal a little harder than they would have been otherwise. Also I wasn't thrilled with the graphics they weren't horrible but I thought they could have been better. I played through the whole trial and I think I will probably end up buying this game but it most definitely is not for everyone even if you like TM games.
I love garden panic so of course I was thrilled to see garden rescue. The games are similar though I think the upgrades and graphics are better in panic but this was still a fun and challenging game. It has 3 levels of difficulty and 30 levels of play. It also has special helpers such as a spring and what I would call a bug bomb that you get from killing the bugs and place on the paths so they don't take up plant spaces which I really liked. You earn money from your strawberries, which are upgradeable, and not from killing bugs. And if a bug makes it to your strawberries you get a second chance at killing them as they tray and take your plants with them rather than eating them in the garden. All in all I had enough fun during the 1 hour trial that went ahead and purchased the game. I think if you like strategy/puzzle games and don't mind just ok graphics you'll enjoy this game.
So i wasn't sure if I was going to like this game when I started playing. The story line opened with the bad guy crushing a flower for no real reason and I almost shut it down right then but I'm glad I didn't. The game play is like some other TM games but what made it different and for me more fun is that your choices between making money and environmental factors determine aspects later in the game. For this reason I can see myself playing this game more than once. I hope we see more interesting and fun TM games like this one in the future.

This is a great TM game. It is similar to other TM games but it has a few differences that make it fresh and fun. i love all the little things that make it great such as when you are waiting for a page to load it says eat brains on the bottom. The storyline is good and you don't have to sit through it if you don't want which I really like. The other feature I enjoyed was you don't have to wait for the clock to finish at the stations before moving on to the next task. Other TM games make you wait and I always feel like I'm wasting time when that happens. The challenge increases with the levels and I think it will be one of those games I'll play more than once. If you like TM games you'll love this.
I like the first two games in this series better than this one but overall I was satisfied with this version. I would recommend that you play either Be a King or Be a King 2 first if you have never played a Be a King before because I think the first two did a better job of teaching you how to play. Also I saw another review that complained about the cursor in this game and I agree it wasn't as responsive as it could have been and I also wish there was an option to change it. Other than that I think its a fun strategy game.
