Before you even start, make sure you check the options. Depending on what you choose (highlight or not, freeze colors or not, etc.),makes it more or less challenging for yourself. Loved that you had the option to go back in and change your choices at any time and that they are applied right away. The options I chose, made it so I was not even able to finish 2 drawings in the 1 hour trial. LOVED IT! The way they have chosen the navigation of colors and picture display is nothing less than brilliant! Seeing all the colors displayed on the bottom at once gives you a good idea of how challenging it will be and the map shows you, not only where you are on the drawing but allows you to see how much you have left and to navigate quickly from one end of the picture to the other (you can also use 'right click' as before for those who prefer) I cannot comment on the sound track as I always play on mute.
If you like these types, do yourself a favor and try out the demo.
This game is basically a paint by number. Relaxing if you just want some mindless coloring and the pictures, once finished, are pleasing and textured, but pretty basic.
However, I believe this would be the perfect game to 'hide the picture' in a completely covered page of polygon shapes. The way the numbers appear only as you do them lends itself perfectly to this premise. It would add a level of fun and anticipation to see how soon you could guess the picture before it is completely revealed.
Why wouldn't you love colorful pictures of food! Always having a color to look for is a good thing when putting a puzzle together. My issue is not the subject of the puzzles, it is that you cannot choose the amount of pieces you want for each one. A lot of the pictures I would have loved to make only contained 12 pieces. Adding to that frustration is the fact that you do not have a free working surface because the puzzle pieces themselves are in the way. It would not be so bad if you could actually work from the 'tray', but as soon as you put 2 pieces together, they drop to the puzzle surface, again filling in your work space, that you have to empty again! Having more than the 1 tray would be nice. There is also a bit of frustration when turning the pieces. They seem to turn more times than you click, quite often.
I loved the pictures of food. When you like making puzzles, it is not about the end result, it is about the fun of putting it together. Having a clear working space would have made it that much more fun! If you could choose the difficulty level that each contains (how many pieces and rotate or not) I would buy it even without the 'free working space'.

Mosaics, lately, have been made too easy to solve. They are more like paint by numbers. You can choose to play this one in that easy mode as well, for the younger players or if you just want to relax a bit. However, by clicking different settings in the options before you start as well as a few options while you're actually playing each board, you get a bit more control on the challenge level of your game. This makes it a good mosaic game for the whole family!
