I've been waiting for these folks to come out with another game ever since their '360' game! I only wish there were more of this genre geared for a more adult audience. I bought this one right away, I dont need to try it out to know that I'll want to play the whole thing.
I recommend this game!

Now THIS is the kind of game I love to play! My only regret is that there aren't more games like this. On a side note, they are incredibly fun to play on stormy nights!
A few things I appreciated:
I very much prefer the 'live' characters versus computerized, makes the experience all that much more engaging.
The puzzles weren't as 'ridiculous'. For example, I didn't have to hunt around an entire house for a wheel to attach to a child's toy carriage before I could move it when in reality, I could just move it out of the way myself (I'm very picky when it comes to stuff like that).
The game didn't ever feel sloppy towards the end. There are a few games I've played that towards the end, it seemed the developers were kind of rushing through it or they just ran out of ideas.
I very much liked how the story was put together and felt regretful when it was over versus being relieved when the game finally ends, as has been the case on several occasions.
Here's to future games that capture my imagination!
I recommend this game!

But then towards the end it really felt like the developers got sick and tired of making the game and so slopped their way through the rest.
Allow me to explain; I'm rather logic based and if something isn't exactly following the laws of physics (whether a game or movie), it bothers me really bad.
Now, I take into consideration that this is a game with magic and ghosts and statues coming to life and that sorta stuff, which isn't exactly a thing we have to worry about in the real world so why does one care about applying the laws of physics?
But come on now.
If there's something hidden under a door mat with a bit of suturing down the middle, I'm not going to hunt around a giant house that's trying to kill me to find some scissors to cut it with to get what's under the mat. I'm going to flip the mat over and look under it.
Stuff like this totally ruins the game for me because it's so stupid.
I recommend the game, even if those small details really bothered me.
However, it makes me reconsider buying the second game because it too might start off with a bang and then kinda get lazy as well.

This game was fabulous! I really wish there was a genre specifically for creepier, scarier games. This one was what I was looking for. In fact, I wish it had been even creepier! But it did a good job and certainly hit the spot.
I recommend this game!

My only regret is there aren't more games like this one! I stumbled across this one and was playing it at home alone one night and I can tell you, there was a jump scare that got me pretty good.
I wasn't expecting it at all because most hidden object games that I've played fall short of the 'scare factor'.
I was not disappointed with this one, the story and game play were thoroughly entertaining and I look forward to there being similar games in the future!
The fact that these games are intended for mature audiences are exactly what I like about these games

If it says Mystery Case Files, I know it'll be a good game. I've had fun by getting these games without finding out what they're about and know I'll be in for a treat every time. I find it very appealing when a hidden object game is geared for a mature player and the makers of these games haven't disappointed me yet! Although, I do miss the 'live actors'!
I recommend this game!

This is one the THE BEST games I have ever played. The story is awesome, the graphics are awesome, (I love it when game developers use real actors for the characters, its much more engrossing for me as well as believable), and the story-line is awesome. The older couple are my favorite because to me, they were hilarious :). I HIGHLY recommend this game to any and all.

I'm an avid fan of the VV series and I really look forward to any new games from this developer, so I hope we'll see another one soon! I enjoy discovering the secrets of the islands as each game is unique in what there is for your villagers to figure out (excepting the hunt for food that is). These games are in real-time play so they can leave them for a day or two, depending on what speed its set at. Its important to always check on them to make sure they haven't all starved to death or something because then you'll have to start over, thats happened to me on several occasions so I know I'm not village chieftain material :).
I recommend this game!

This was one of the first games I played when I stumbled across BFG and I have to say, It's one of the very best games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It has everything! Creepiness (I recommend scaredy cats like myself to not play this in the dead of night), mystery, excitement, and was so very fun because I (after calling up some of my sisters to come over and finish it with me) had a small crowd helping figure it out. The graphics were awesome, I am so much more engrossed into games that have good, believable graphics and scenery. They are a much funner game play experience! The developers of this game have a good thing going and they do not disappoint!
