Let me add my positive thoughts to those who have already rated this game with 5 stars. The best for me was the unusual presentation of the puzzles and the unique items that had to be manipulated to solve them.
I wanted to like this game and to support this developer. I'm just not interested in being spoon fed the game play. At first, I try to ignore the pointer changes, but when the first puzzle came up with the instructions popping up right below I exited. I really didn't give the game play a chance, so take this review with a grain of salt. With few exceptions, I won't buy games that do not include a way of turning off all the help.
We all play for different reasons. One reason I play is keep my mind sharp. I imagine the game developers and myself in a battle of wits and each time I can find an object or figure out a puzzle, I win. The best is playing the whole game with no help (even pointer changes) without having to resort to the map or the guide. This game is keeping me at the top of my form. Love it,
What charmed me is the creativity and the challenge. Only thing I didn't like is that you can't turn off the pointer changing on active areas and the messages telling you what to do .
I've been starving for a hard game and Ominous Objects finally came around!. I really appreciate the developer allowing for the icon changes to be turned off. A game has to have some exceptional qualities before I will buy it with those stupid little magnifying glasses and gears. In this case, the game has some new types of interactions that I really enjoyed. I bought it as soon as the first walk on the log bridge showed up. Thank you Daily Magic for giving something different and interesting.
I recommend this game!

Dark Parables: Requiem for the Forgotten Shadow Collector's Edition
A dark illness has befallen the townspeople of Anaben!
I don't understand the negative reviews of this game, so I thought I would chime in with those who loved it. Normally, I like challenging games, but when it comes to Blue Tea games I become entranced with their beauty. Please try this game yourself, and see if it charms you as much as it did me.
I was eager for a new game, but this thing is way to predictable for my taste. This may be good for the casual player, but I like more challenging games. I quit before completing the Demo.
If you want something that is going to make you work to discover the answers, then you might like this game as much as I do. I play everything at the hardest level. When I was stalled in the first scene, it was an immediate buy.
