Based on demo, will be a definite buy. But I think this one is actually number 10 in the series (Haunted Hotel by Special Bit was number 1, HH2 Believe the Lies, HH 3 Lonely Dream and HH4 Charles Dexter Ward were all from Special Bit. Then Elephant took over and did HH5 Eclipse, HH6 Ancient Bane , HH7 Death Sentence, HH8 Eternity, HH9 Phoneix, and lastly HH10 the X). Great series. Keep them coming.
I recommend this game!

This one gets a resounding Wow!! Loved the followng
Cutscenes
Music (rarely do I make it through an entire game without turning it off, in this one the music just kept you going)
Interactive Map
Cohesive Story
Loved that the Bonus Chapter was in the middle of the story rather than some prequel at the end like so many CE bonus chapters are.
This is one I will play again!!!!
Great Job developers, keep them coming

I beta tested this one in June and couldn't wait for it to come out so I could buy it. I liked it so much I bought the first game before this one. So glad it is finally released on BFG. Fun game, love the map, graphics and storyline. Good game to add to the collection of favorite HOPA's
I recommend this game!

I absolutely love this developer. I actually Beta tested this one in June, and have been waiting patiently for it to come out in the SE (can't always afford the CE). This one is so much fun as are all the games from ERS. No HOS scenes as others have mentioned. You do find useful objects lying around, and have mini-games to solve. It reminds me of Azada in Libro. I like these as well as HOS games, so this was an easy decision to buy.
I recommend this game!

I have always loved this developer, but unless you have a widescreen monitor, don't bother with this game. You will not be able to complete one of HOS. Very frustrating!!!!
I don't recommend this game.

This one is right up my alley. Not too easy not too hard. HOS scenes are a nice size, so you can find objects without resorting to the hint button. Fun game!!!!
I recommend this game!

I found this one to be a pain. From the screen flickering, to the slow response of the journal opening. I hated how dark the HOS screens were. Hate it when you end up randomly clicking all over the place or mashing the heck out of the hint button to find things that were too hard to see. Couldn't wait to to get this one over with
I don't recommend this game.
