This is the second game in the Hidden Expedition series and I'm not really a fan of it per say.
I do like "competing" against 3 other teams. I liked that aspect a lot! The plot was kinda meh. I felt it was all over the place and it didn't really come together.
The Hidden Object scenes were hit or miss. Either they would be very nice and clear or they were all bunched together and very hard to find the objects even if you used a hint.
You start out with 3 hints and can "earn" hints by finding jewels. The jewels were a LOT harder to find this time I thought. They are only good for that scene, so if you find 4 jewels and find all the hidden objects, you will then go into a new scene but all the jewels you found previously didn't count.
Then there were random bonus hidden objects. Which, I'm totally a sucker for random bonus game play, but this was completely random and you only get to look at the book of random things when you find one. This makes you start random clicking, which of course penalizes you. I thought they could have incorporated that in a much better way.
I bought this game because it was part of the series but I could have done without it. I don't know if I'll play it again for a while.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is mostly repetition. You earn the characters skills and clean up the colony. There are different goals throughout the game...all dealing with restoring the colony.
The graphics are nice. The story line was alright.
Honestly, this isn't really THAT great of a game, but I can't stop playing it. I've actually played it through at LEAST 3 times. I just enjoy it. Maybe it appeals to my obsessive nature (none of the tasks are very hard; it is just time consuming) or maybe I just like it because I was a theatre major in college.
Either way it's fun and relaxing and something I can do while cleaning the house.
I recommend this game!

This was a great little game for the price!
Basically, you take geometric shapes and uncover "artifacts."
There are 7 "levels" and there are 7 "scenes" in each level.
There are also 3 play modes.
Action mode: The picture you are trying to uncover is constantly moving across the screen. You have to uncover it before it touches the left side of the screen.
Strategy mode: Every time you place a shape on the picture, it moves to the left. Again, you have to uncover the picture before it touches the left side of the screen.
Classic mode: The picture is stationary. In this mode, you need to keep placing shapes to prevent a build up on the "shape conveyor" belt.
This isn't a hard game. It can get challenging depending on which mode you choose. I find it one of the more relaxing games that I play.
All in all it's a great little game!
I recommend this game!

This was one of the first Hidden Object games that I ever played. It is an older game but it's still a good one. If you are an expert at HO games, then you will be bored, but this is just right for beginners.
Cons:
The graphics are older so they aren't as great as games currently out there.
There really isn't a story line persay. But there is little tidbits of Titanic trivia that I DID enjoy.
Sometimes you have to click a couple of times for it to "find" the object.
I swear sometimes not all 5 jewels show up in each scene. This is just kinda annoying especially if you are a player like me who likes a "perfect" score. However, if I exit and then go back in usually it resets the problem.
No high score list (I like to replay and "beat" my scores)
Either way it does have replay value and I can play it with my kids! It was a great start to the Hidden Expedition series!
I recommend this game!

I bought this game because I really enjoy the Farm Frenzy games and I just didn't quite get my fill of the game in one hour.
It's a cute game. You rescue animals and clean up destruction left by various disasters.
Some levels were pretty challenging but I managed to get gold trophies on my own without asking for any walkthroughs.
It was a little repetitive. There is really no progression. The ending level I got a gold trophy on the second try. There are no awards like in the Farm Frenzy games. There is nothing to purchase to help you do better in the levels. You can level up your "buildings" in every level.
Either way it was a cute game and I played it obsessionally until I had mastered each level. I may go back and play it from time to time but now that I've beaten it I really don't have much reason to replay it. So if you want hours upon hours upon hours of play time, this game is probably not for you. If you want something mindless while you are holding a grumpy teething baby who will wake up if you put him down, then this game is a-ok! :)
I recommend this game!

I bought this game because I enjoyed playing the first one.
Like the first game, this is a straight up Hidden Object game. It's pretty straight forward. The scenes are pretty good, but a little fuzzy so some are a little harder to find. I was able to complete the game on the "hard" difficulty with no problems.
Sometimes you are given just the shadow of the pictures. That is a fun little twist.
Again, the music is really fun. Sometimes I find myself lingering in a scene until my "favorite song" is over. :)
The replay value is pretty good (if you are like me, it's almost like having a brand new game if I play it after waiting for a few months!) :)
I recommend this game!

I bought this clear back in 2007. I still go back to play it from time to time!
The graphics aren't crazy good or anything but they are pretty decent.
I really like the music. I think that keeps bringing me back!
The game isn't extremely hard.
Overall, it's a really cute Hidden Object game!
I recommend this game!
