Nice length of game (about 6.5 hrs for me, including bonus and I play at a regular/fast pace) and leaves it open for sequels. Bonus chapter is a complete bust. Thought it would be intriguing as it tells the father's side of the story. However, it was incredibly short (40 min.) and too easy. The places you visit are from the main game, nothing new, and the gameplay is way too easy as you already did it in regular game.
Nice graphics, a little dark in places. Music was fine. Really nice voiceovers, even managed to sync to the characters pretty well.
Glad there is a hint button and SG, especially if you miss a coin!
Very nice overall, but if I hadn't bought it on sale today, I would've been very disappointed in buying the CE over waiting for SE. So I would recommend if this were an SE, but as it is. . .
I don't recommend this game.

Wow! What a wild ride!
Don't know what I can add that hasn't been said. Great game all around. Only two drawbacks-- the "voices" when you spoke to characters sounds like flies buzzing. My dog would start barking every time! Secondly, it would be nice for the in-game list to put down the house number that you need to return to with items. DEFINITELY need a notebook to keep track of everything.
Great characters, great graphics and very funny!
BFG, keep games like this coming!!
I recommend this game!

Based on demo. Was excited to see a new Kahuna, as I really enjoyed the others. Hoped to get some good time-wasting under my belt. Seemed like there would be plenty of power-ups and charms, but even at the end of the demo (and I play pretty fast) I had only received one of each.
The game was identical to the others, right down to the music/sound. So, alas, I have to pass on this one. Might be good for a DoD, though

I admit match-3s aren't my favorite, but this is just pitiful. About the only ones who would enjoy this are children. And young ones at that. There is just NO challenge whatsoever. You don't get any power-ups because you just don't need them!
Story line is very vague. You are trying to open or disable a gate (not sure which). Very nice voiceovers, though. Graphics are fine. Very large gems to match, so I could play without my readers ;-)
No fun factor, everthing repeats, and the board never changes, just a square. Not worth a credit, probably not even DD could sell this to me.
I don't recommend this game.

Just not a great game. Very dated graphics, lots of the scenes are very cluttered, that's why it got a 2 for challenge instead of one. Glad there's a skip button for all the dialogue, cuz there's lots of it. Mini games were same, and very easy. Not wasting my time even finishing the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoyed this match three, which are not among my usual favorites. This one is made a little more challenging as it has you double matching to clear the fruit away. I also like that you can match in an "L" shape, not just the usual vert & horiz.
Music is cutesy and light, though it does get on your nerves after a while. Graphics are crisp and clean, with very cute characters in vibrant colors.
A bonus game is every five levels, but not sure what it is meant to do. Doesn't seem to be anything to do with the bonus loot you collect. Just a monotony breaker, I guess.
Boss levels are cute; you need to drop fruit on them to get rid of them. Not too hard for the first two I met in the demo #sorry, haven't bought full game yet, but it's on my list#.
Great little time waster. Nothing too challenging. Kids will really like it.

There were just too many things I disliked about this solitaire game. First, you were never given the opportunity to "finish" a game. Once you found the missing card, game over.
Second, the layouts were very small. How about a double deck or something a little more challenging?
Third, no UNDO button. Games are pretty easy, so hardly a need, but every once in a while. . .at least let me earn one or two.
Fourth was the VERY bothersome inventory items. I hated having to stop every few cards to "dust" or "demold" something. Best in Show definitely did this better.
OK, a few things I did like: the story was kinda cute; music was pleasant; liked the mini games as a distraction (too easy and stale for any real fun); hey, at least this had two solitaire variations.
Save your money. I don't even think it's worth it if it was DoD.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is basically "Best in Show" without the cute dogs. Same one up-one down solitaire. Graphics were only so-so. Power ups and wild card were ok. Did like that the goal changed from area to area.
They need to come up with a solitaire that has the novelty of "powering up" your characters, like BiS, but with some variety of games to play. There are 100s of variations of solitaire! Let's use something new!
I don't recommend this game.

Wow, just finished, couldn't stop til the end!
Story line is great, surrounding the demise of Houdini. Not sure how much is fact, but a great story nonetheless. Keeps you guessing and wondering. A few jump-out-at-you moments, but that's part of the fun.
Graphics were great, sound was nice and not intrusive.
Not a ton of HOGs, but I like it that way. Scenes were not too cluttered and fairly easy to find. Liked to have to combine two items to make new one, though not much of that.
Love the integrated guide. Let's you know what to do next, and I did have to use it several times. Diary is good, too, as I started the demo when it first came out & just purchased on the sale, so had forgotten who some of the characters were.
Great fun, decent length, terrific story.
Definitely a buy!
I recommend this game!

Liked the start of the game, typical find pieces to put together stuff. Mini games were easy, and objects were easy to find.
I wish I could give a more complete review, but the demo has to be the shortest on record! I finished in 16 minutes, and I took the time to read the dialogues!
Really liked the bonus play of using your objects left at the end of the chapter to complete a task.
Probably won't buy as I really didn't get that great of a feel for the game. I suspect if the demo is this short, the rest of the game is, too.
I don't recommend this game.
