I have all versions of Northern Tales and have enjoyed them until this version. To the end user, it appears that not much thought went into the story line, and the theme is awful. The goal for each level is to hammer a living object to death while the living object just takes it. It morbid, and cringe worthy. I'll think twice before I look forward to or buy the next Northern Tales
Again, I'm a bit disappointed to see that developers are still stereotyping women into household chores, etc. Viking women in fact were warriors along side the men. This issue seems to be blaringly evident in game play, which is always disappointing.

It's not one to memorize easily, so you can play the same game repeatedly which makes it worth the purchase. However, I will probably write to the developers regarding the roles for the men/women as they are rather barbarically assigned. Overall though, love the game.
The presentation of this game looks great, and I was looking forward to liking/buying the game. However, the background is black with black dots for taken cells and it's very hard to see the available cells to choose from in the daylight. I'm not sure how it will look at night with the lights on, but I'm not optimistic about it. That I could see, there wasn't any options for choosing a different background either; I'm disappointed because it looks like a great game.

This was the right amount of challenge, great graphics, not too dark.
I recommend this game!

I am a fan of Island Tribe; I have all 5 releases and was excited to see this one. However, it took me little time to play the game out, with very little challenge. There is almost no new artwork to look forward to, the challenge is next to nothing, and the game over was quickly. This 5th release should have had 60 level before bonus levels, new and exciting artwork and challenges - but there was not of that. Overall, as a follower, I am disappointed and will not jump so fast to purchase on the next release from Realore.

You would think that by the 3rd release of this game, there would be an option for experienced users to turn off the hints, etc. It's insulting that that one little option is not available. It's disappointing that the scenes are altered only slightly from the previous version, and there just wasn't much effort put into this new game. I would have been a dedicated follower if my purchase investment would have rewarded me for spending my money on this game. It's comparable to re-releasing Monsters in 3D without any other changes - making money twice off pretty much the same release. Very disappointing.
