Fun game, but I hope you aren't relying on this game to teach you proper geography. Apparently Chichen Itza is in Peru.... A little basic Google research is in order for the developers.
I really wanted to like this game - the graphics are great, special effects wonderful - but that's it. Its all glitter and no substance. After chapter 3 I was getting annoyed. You endlessly collect tokens, emblems, runes etc that need to be put together incessantly and for no conceivable reason. Collecting all these sparkling things distract you from the non-existent plot. There is no rhyme or reason to where these things are supposed to go or why and it goes on and on...and on. I found myself skipping puzzles (way too many of them) just to get the darned game over with! Thankfully there was a map you could use to instantly get to where active areas are otherwise I would've been lost and deleted the game very quickly. Do not recommend.
I play these games to pass the time once in a while - I am not a hardcore gamer who spends my life playing these. That being said, this game was unbelievably annoying - too much "back, back, back" to do a simple task. Very irritating. A map would've been very useful here so you could instantly go where you needed to go, with indicators of tasks being available at which place. I didn't find the storyline interesting either. I quit this game and deleted it after being about half way through. Just. Wasn't. Fun. I could not invest anymore of my time. I found another game to play instead.
The story was ok, my only complaint is that the game was too long - seemed to last forever. Since I don't have the time to play a game straight through, I found myself easily losing interest and finished it for the sake of finishing it. Graphics were great and the developers did a fantastic job with the game. You definitely get your $$$ worth.
