The story started out interesting and different. But the bad dialogue and slow pace to the game did not hold my interest. I played the demo to the end and it did not grab me. No sale here. The visuals were good and the background music appropriate, just not interesting to buy to find out what happened to Rick.
This is not one of the better Mystery Trackers. Elf was really not needed nor as cute as in previous games. Very short play. Story line needed work. No real challenge in the game play.
I liked the game. Played the whole 90 SE demo then went out and bought the game. It is intriguing and the characters are not the usual run of the mill cookie cutter looking types. Each character is a little quirky and different. Liked this difference and found it refreshing. The game play is smooth, liked the various mini games. Overall I have positive things to say.
I just love this series. I was happy to see Mortimer back and once again bumbling along but succeeding in the end. Please try this game and the others in this series. I think you will be charmed.
Just love these have all of them now. This one is a good installment in the series. Fun, relaxing, good story, good all around game. My annual Christmas present to myself.
I read the positive reviews and tried the demo. I really tried to like this game but very stilted and flat. Music ok, graphics rather juvenile, lots of mini games that were different than the norm but so many to begin the game that the storyline never really got a chance to develop.
I have this whole series and this one is much better than the last one. Good storyline, good flow, the graphics could have been crisper but overall good. This game follows the same game play as the others; having to go into the past and help souls. Very happy with my purchase
I really liked this game, it started with something different and you were allowed to choose the scary mode or not too scary. I chose scary and lots of special effects. Good story line that made sense to the end. Good visuals and sound. Good mini games. Overall really worth a play - I bought the SE version and was very satisfied with the quality and length of play.
I love the story line, great graphics, good functional map BUT you HAVE to love minigames. Every time you think you are moving ahead yet another minigame pops up. The only thing that is saving grace is you can skip these in a very short time. These are so frequent that the story line begins to blur. For instance in one scene you play three minigames and a hidden object that has three levels then another mini game to collect only one thing to go forward with. I muted the music due to it did not relate to the game at all even changing scenes and places on the maps the music was not appropriate to the current scene. I was very interested in the story but the mini games wore me out.
