This is a great time-management & strategy game rolled into one.
Some levels seem very simple, which is a nice break from other levels that you have to really think about your strategy in order to get the level finished in time to earn the 3 stars. I have played this gave multiple times and have yet to get board with it. There are even a hand full of levels at the end that I have yet to get 3 stars on. I like the challenge.
Great graphics and story line. Wish that there was more levels to the game. I wouldn't mind another game like it, but I have yet to find one. Farm Craft is great too, but I like the futuristic look and theme of this one. Sci-fi fan here ;)
If you have enjoyed the rest of or any of the Build-a-lot series, this is a must try. Definitely a must have for the Build, Time Management, & Strategy players out there. I have loved this game. I believe that it is the best to come out of the Build-a-lot series so far. I loved the 3 Types of game play besides the regular casual play and the challenge that the 2 new types presented. In fact I'm even having trouble getting through one! It is great! The graphics are good and seem to improve with each version of Build-a-lot. I enjoy that the challenge isn't in acquiring the blue prints for what you need in this version, but instead in what you have to accomplish with what you have and the space you have to do it in. Very nice! I really enjoy being able to go back and improve my own time on any level. I look forward to making my way through all the types of play available in this game. It is almost like getting 3 games in one - Fun City!
This game was far more interesting then I thought it would be when I first downloaded it. For me at any rate, it became addictive to see what I could get accomplished next. Each level offered its own challenges, but gave you time to make them. After the first time I played it through I was actually disappointed, thinking: "This is it, I'm done. But I didn't get to buy everything I wanted." That is when I played it through creating a second character and actually added my own twist to the game, that of seeing how much I could get done in one level that would be used/needed in the next. The nice part about this game is that it isn't over challenging for the first time players. But for the advanced Big Fish Gamer; having bought over 65 games and played countless others; there was enough to keep my interest and come back and play it through more then once. The only draw back I have to the game, is that I couldn't go back once it was finished/won and replay it with the same character or even go back and replay levels as I was playing to try and win that level. Regardless, I will create new characters and replay it in the future.
I loved the fact that I could take my time and figure just how to do each task in the best way. And if I made a mistake, I had plenty of time to fix. I loved that even though time wasn't a factor that each level was challenging and that I could even challenge myself by achieving the tasks in different ways. I've enjoyed this game so much that I've created and deleted multiple players so that I could play it over and over.
