I loved the first two Azada titles, the puzzles were fun and some you really had to think through. I was thrilled when In Libro was released, and quickly jumped on the demo of the Collector's Edition. After playing my one allotted hour, I was surprised to find I that although I found the game interesting, I was willing to wait for the regular version. Even when the regular version was released, I re-played the first hour before finally buying the game.
2 1/2 hours later, I'm done with the game, and very disappointed. All those gorgeous graphics and beautiful music wasted on a game that gives absolutely no payout for capturing that evil uncle.
Azada creates these creatures who help you along the way, only to encase them in copper, or turn them to skeletons before your eyes. The entire time I was playing I expected to be able to re-animate these characters eventually, but no, the game simply ends.
The puzzles themselves are simple, with a few twists, but mainly they're jigsaw or swap-pieces varieties. The final game is a horribly designed mess of a Sudoku variant that requires you to pick up the individual components from the edge of the board, making what should be a fun brain teaser into a tedious drag and drop.
If this game had been released under a different title, I don't think I would be as frustrated, but to think that the wonderfully imaginative Azada has been reduced to this is frustrating.
I don't recommend this game.

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I wasn't a huge fan of 13th Skull, but have loved every other MCF game, although I was careful not to get my hopes up too high for this one.
Although not perfect, this game really upped the ante for "casual" games, the storyline, the graphics, everything is geared less toward the casual gamer and more towards an adult and more experienced crowd.
My only complaints are:
- Strategy Guide with just photos and no text made it possible to complete mini games without actually understanding why. This was especially frustrating with the final puzzle, I ended up plugging in the required info and didn't find out where it came from until reading it on the forums.
- Bonus gameplay is not much of a bonus. Adding only a few extra minutes, not worth the extra cost in my opinion.
Truly worth the cost, but the regular version will be 99.9% as good, at half the price.
I recommend this game!

This is the third in a series of beautifully creative "Drawn" games, and although I think the first two are more difficult and have more complex artwork, Trail of Shadows holds its own special touches that makes it worth buying.
Loved:
+ The pop-up interactive book pages were pure genius, and a joy to play with.
+ Voice actors were perfect, I could listen to the old man tell stories all day.
+ Music is haunting, sweet, ethereal. Reminded me of Cirque Du Soliel shows.
+ Artwork is rich, with beautifully drawn depth and whimsy.
Just OK:
> Length of the game was about 3 hours, this was just taking my time.
> The size of the game world just seemed smaller in this Drawn than previous iterations. Only four "scenes" to explore, all with a similar feel.
> Inexplicable pigs. Pigs you clicked and collected, but nowhere was there any mention of what they were doing there - although they looked happy and contented. I keep feeling like I'm going to have them just pop up on my desktop someday, rooting around for truffles or something.
The Sort of Bad:
- Although gameplay suited my personality, I loved feeling like I was part of this beautiful artistic world, and enjoyed having to go back to different locations and suddenly see something I'd missed before. This might be a negative to some people though - and could be frustrating.
- The custom cursor became a bit floaty and jumpy at some points, switching to regular cursor made it better.
- The pop-up toolbar sometimes popped up when I was trying to just back out of a location, then sometimes did not pop up when I needed it. It can be locked in place, but I loved having the full screen without it so I just dealt with the issue.
- The 3-D perspective shift was beautiful, but gave me a headache - definitely glad they gave the option to "lock" it.
Although short, this rich and delightful story is still worthy of purchase. Congrats to the artists, and I hope the next Drawn is just a bit longer!
I recommend this game!

I think I've had this nightmare before. You're late for a test, but for some reason can't find your classroom. You walk around in circles, taking left and right turns, but always ending up back where you started.
This isn't a good game, it's a bad dream!
Actually, I think it would have been good, if they'd backed off the first person perspective just a bit - as it is, you'll end up nose-to-nose with a bunch of empty walls. Navigation isn't just confusing, it's downright frustrating. Add to it a map that is less than enlightening (so, a red dot showing where I am - but no room identifiers, or any way to know which way I'm facing? Thanks).
Stuck it out for the full hour because the graphics and the storyline are good, but not good enough to overcome the crummy controls and poor gameplay.
I don't recommend this game.
