I originally like a game similar to this I had for gameboy. I recently downloaded a game call Pixel Perfect (i think) for my regular kindle (not fire) and it's was pretty basic. I was glad to get this game back. Then I thought, why not check bigfishgames.
I didn't have to search far, it was the #1 game in brain teasers. This game is so addictive. What a simple idea but done with class. With various levels to complete varying it difficulty. It also tell you facts about each item you draw. Enjoyable soundtrack adds to the fun of this game.
Please give this game a try, I'm sure you'll be addicted just like me. I've been playing for a day or so now and only in world 3. It's easy enough for kids of all ages but keeps you interested. I'm kinda going in reverse, after I finish this one, I'll start backwards and play the other World Mosaics. So if you become addicted, rest assure that there are 4 other games prior to this one to play.
I recommend this game!

This game is a little different than other HO games. You travel back in time for some of the scenes and hide stuff in the “ghostly” realm then travel to “now” and find the stuff you hid in the “ghostly/past” realm. So basically you travel to the past (but you can only stay in that room in the past), do some things, hide some objects and travel back to the present, find and use the objects. But there are many different portals throughout the game. This made the game a little different than other.
The HOS scenes were fairly easy and any puzzles in the game were way too easy. Just when I though I couldn’t figure out the puzzle, I press something and the puzzle would be solved. As neat as the feel the game was unique, the easy puzzles made this game drag on. I couldn’t wait until the game was over.
Then you play the bonus chapter with the Collector’s Edition, and it extended the story where it really didn’t need to. I’d probably rate this game a low B to high C.
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoyed the story line and it keeps you wanting to go farther and farther to see what was going to happen next. As you go through the game, you pick up pieces of papers that Lynn was leaving behind for you. After you collect enough to complete each drawing (there were several drawings throughout the game), you’d click your journal and you’d see an animated sketch that the little girl left behind. It would always give you hints as to what happened and sometimes something you’d need to know as your progressed. Another thing I liked is your goal list, a list of what you need to do next.
The soundtrack was decent and easy to listen to. The puzzles weren’t too hard or too easy that the game became boring. The CE features extra gameplay after completing the main game. The extended story continued your journey at the manor. After completing the game you also opened up concept art, wall papers and screen savers and soundtrack.
I recommend this game!

I like the story line and it kept getting better. The puzzles were a bit challenging at times, but I did manage to get through them without having to skip any of them. I did have to look at the SG on a few. Even after looking at them, I still don't understand the Marimba like instrument mini puzzle and later the organ puzzle in the bonus game.
So if you plan on playing be warned I found those puzzles very difficult. Well, maybe difficult isn't quite the right word,,,confusing might be a better word.
Since it was a music related game, I expected a great soundtrack. I applaud the music team because the soundtrack was excellent. It was really enjoyable to listen to while playing the game. To be honest, I usually listen my TV while I play games. During this game, my TV stayed on mute.
If you download and install this game, I think you like it.
Good Luck!

This game had an excellent story ... even more the bonus chapter in the Collector's Edition. The puzzles were entertaining without being too hard (however, I did find the last puzzle of the main game a little challenging, however I must admit I was in a hurry to see what was next, I used the hint button. Okay, I'm lying, I was all baffled by it, even when using the Strategy Guide's instructions, I just couldn't grasp the way the Strategy Guide worded it and I couldn't figure it out on my own.)
I loved the way the creators used commentary as you progressed through the game. The villain (not sure if they named him, if so, I don't remember) was constantly taunting you as your progressed. I really thought that gave the game a unique feel.
The HOS weren’t that hard either and of course I always love in the HOS that you have to find an item and use it with another item, or having to find multiple items to complete one item. For example, you may need to find a stack of books, and in the HOS you‘ll have to find 3 or 4 books to complete the stack.
After the story was over, I played the “bonus chapter.” This added to the story and took you to an amusement park where the villain kept taunting you there. Once I completed the game, the story … well I don’t want to say anything. But, I would recommend the Collector’s Edition to everyone. The continued story and along with the rest of the bonus chapter makes it worth the extra money.
I recommend this game!

I'm used to my usual Mystery Case Files, but I felt that this held up to that standard. With an excellent and compelling story line and game play that didn't get boring. It didn't focus on the same screens over and over. You kept going forward and didn't have to go back to the same HO screen over and over. The soundtrack was enjoyable to listen to.
With the Collector's Edition you got extra game play once the main story was complete. This wasn't just something extra to be played, it added to the original story line. So without the Collector's Edition, you'll still have a great story.
The puzzles were easy enough to be solved but didn't have to think and think and think about. They weren't easy enough to be boring and not hard enough you got sick. They were right in the middle. Not too hard and not too easy.
I would recommend this game to everyone. No matter what you skill level it will hold your attention without getting frustrated.
I hope you will enjoy this game as much as I did. Good Luck on solving the mystery and stop Veronica from turning into a werewolf.
<grin> there is a mistake in the first scene of the game when you're talking to Veronica's adopted mother. HINT: look in the mirror on the wall of the carriage and look at Veronica's face. Haha for this little overlook in the game -or- did they put that there to see if everyone was paying attention?
I recommend this game!

I played this game for about 30 minutes ad couldn't stand playing it any longer. The HO puzzles themselves were either way too easy or almost impossible to find. There was not in between. The mini games were an added bonus. I did like the idea of playing mini games to build to something. The sound was pretty decent, I liked the audio of the game. The visual, well not so much, I'd have to give it a C.
The part that I didn't like the game the most... the story. After every "floor" it gave you a story. We're not talking a paragraph...it was 3 pages...each level. A lot of reading. It kinda made the game drag on. I want to play a game not read a book.
Very disappointed.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm used to Mystery Case Files, this was not Mystery Case Files, but over all...it was a very fun game. The puzzles in this game weren't that hard, but still required a good skill level. I really enjoy this game and didn't have to ponder over the puzzles for hours. They were able to be figured out at a medium level, Also, the in game strategy guide was very helpful on the few (ok i'm lying) occasions that I needed it. The hidden puzzles didn't take hours to figure out either. There wasn't anything I didn't like about the game. I really loved the story line... a house that could appear and disappear at will. The audio as well as the visual were up to par and really made the game enjoyable. I also like the fact that during the hidden puzzle you had to use object a and b in order to get the clue. Meaning if you need a to find a red swan, you needed to click the red paint and then on to the swan to make it red. The applaud the designers and creator of this game. This game all-in-all had a great feel, great story line, great characters and excellent game play. I recommend this game to everyone. It deserves it's number one stop on the top ten, Great game!
I recommend this game!
