The five star rating is deserved. All the complaining about the levels being impossible to get gold in are exaggerated. I had little trouble getting gold up to level 20 or so. It does get harder after that. Thank goodness! Most levels will require you to play them twice. One time to figure out what resources are really necessary, a second to get gold with what you have learned. There is no need to build and upgrade ALL buildings on ALL levels. Build what you need, use enhanced warriors, focus on the tasks. I bought all of the games in this series and enjoy the challenge. These games fun and aren't beaten in a few hours of hardcore play. Well worth buying in my opinion;
This is a time management game. The Robots have done great damage throughout the land and it needs repair. You collect needed supplies to repair bakeries, lumber mills, barracks etc. "Talk" to the Mole for a price though he says nothing. Defend your hard work from rogue Robots with a sword?? It is an odd game with very simple graphics but it is not as simple as it seems. The background music is quiet. (I usually shut off the music right away but left this on as it is not intrusive) You can speed up your actions or supply production with extra clicks. A bit annoying but absolutely necessary to get three stars. The story line is not fantastic, the graphics are not fantastic, I can live without the extra clicking but I still like this odd little game. It won't be for everyone. Give it a try and see if the quirkiness works for you.
A typical TM game (I enjoy them!) that could use some help in the graphics department for sure. It is, however, a decently challenging game. I purchased it after the full trial period because TM games are too few and far between! If you can't figure a level out there is a "?" above the "menu" button that will guide you to a better strategy. I have gold in all but one level so far and have had to play some levels a few times to get it. I admit to using the "?" button a couple of times. There is one level that I can't get gold even with strategy help. The story line for me is generally not important but this one caught my eye. For some reason, the game team decided to inject a very smart aleck character who likes to talk smack. In fact, I was unable to quote said language in my review!! It was "inappropriate"!! So, if you have a credit you won't miss, don't mind a little mild trash talk, and like TM games, this one will at least keep you busy.
Yaaay! A new TM instead of HOGs all the time! Decided to buy it before my free play was over. I would agree that it is a cartoon based game but disagree that it is for kids. Story line is good with narration for the plot and minimal reading between levels. I almost always mute the music. Collect food by fishing and building farms. Cut down trees, upgrade huts for more workers, build markets to purchase supplies, fight off ghosts who try to destroy your farms as you work toward the goals. If I had to compare it to another game it would be "Royal Envoy" and I bought and enjoyed all of that series. I play TM games timed and did not notice if this game has an un-timed option. At the end of each level a bit more of statue is carved. There are achievements to strive for and 3 gold coins to collect for each level completed within the minimum time limit. So far I am enjoying myself and have had to repeat a couple of levels to finish with all 3 coins. Finding the game fun and entertaining. Worth playing and in my opinion; worth buying!
I too decided to buy this game immediately. While it has the basics of a TM game, it presents a challenge also. You have to think and plan as in MKFTP. The story is good, the graphics are lovely, and there are enough changes from level to level to keep you interested. There is an underlying mystery with hidden clues and upgrades you "buy" to fix up the Grandparent's house. Does not require endless clicking but does require thought. It is fun to play this one!
Like ice cream? Then this is the game for you. You make ice cream the way your customers order it. One scoop, two scoops, cone or cup, topping choices....whatever they order. As you make money you can upgrade your ice cream and syrup machines or buy new toppings. Read the story about how you want to make your father proud and receive gifts as you advance. Yes it is repetitive. It was not without challenge. Very nice visually.
I recommend this game!

Burger Island 2: The Missing Ingredients
The great Tiki speed-grilling recipes have been stolen, but only Patty can unlock the final secret ingredient.
That was fun! You are on an island. You cook the recipes you are given and add new ones you create. It is a challenge to keep up. The timing of orders is off just enough to make it difficult to remember where you are. Your one saving grace is tray color...same color equals same ingredients. Cook burgers, eggs, and tortilla chips and top them as ordered. Didn't pay much attention to the story line or music. Not much interest in them. Not sure I would buy the game because it might get monotonous. Confident it would be challenging though. Enjoyable hour spent playing.
Yipes! You feed monkeys. Thats it. The monkeys sit in trees, a conveyor belt gives you fruit, and you click on the monkey that wants the fruit you are holding. Keep them happy because the people you are helping have endless excuses for not being there. If you get in a jam you can put the wrong color fruit in the garbage. When the garbage is full, click on the little monkey to empty it. Over and over. I couldn't play until the demo was over.
I don't recommend this game.

Venice Deluxe
Venice is sinking! Launch treasures and score tumble bonuses to restore the city to glory!
Have not seen a similar game before. Venice is sinking and it is your job to prevent it. You work from a gondola and, oddly, shoot different shapes at moving and non-moving targets to keep the buildings above water. Get a specific power up and your gondola temporarily has wings?! Get others to increase your score. Bounce shapes off pinball style bumpers, bounce them from one target to another, but do not let them fall in the water. Right click to opt for a different shape to shoot. Complete with bonus challenges, this is a unique game that is difficult to describe. Zuma meets Pinball meets a Jigsaw Puzzle/Dart Board?? Interested in how others would describe it and if anyone has played something similar. Why not try it....it's free.
It's not a terrible game....but it isn't great either. Your job is to serve customers sushi. Drag ingredients and dressings to the cutting board, serve them up and collect money. That is the extent of it. Buy power ups to click on pictures rather than drag them and you make sushi faster. Don't worry if you can't remember the ingredients for all the different types of sushi. You can click on a picture and they will be listed for you. There is even a power up to make all the ingredients blink...no challenge there! Story is long and written over simple drawings. I played until the hour was over. Not going to buy this one.
