Involving, beautiful to look at...no, make that incredible to look at and wonderful in every respect. In the "same old" world of these games we play, occasionally there comes a jewel.
I won't get into the game details since there are many longer reviews here if you're interested. Suffice it to say that this gem is exceptional. A great story with fabulous art and an equally terrific bonus game plus a third bonus...find 25 owls each in a great looking setting of various game background art. Grab this baby.
I recommend this game!

Time to pack this series in. First off, I don't for a minute think the developer is using the same staff or in fact is the same developer. Or possibly is going with the current trend in game art. I have 3 Puppet Show games and always enjoyed the creepiness factor. The music, the very edgy opening animation to each game, and the crisp creepy feeling through out the game.
Gone. Now we have the softened, almost pastel-like art which is fine for Bambi but certainly not for Puppet Show. No edginess like the earlier versions. The music is lessened and the game play is too easy.
Puppet Show was a great franchise. Go for the earlier ones. They were wonderful games in their genre.
I don't recommend this game.

It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

For some reason I chose this game over 2 others after starting the demo. Good start but as the game went on I'm beginning to think this isn't fun anymore. It just goes on and on with the same old. I won't comment on the cut scenes or the voice acting. It really doesn't matter. It can't save this game. And the art (graphics, whatever) seem at first a bit cool but become tiresome in no time.
One of the problems, beside being "I've been here before" is that as you get further into the game the hidden objects scenes (after a hint, otherwise you are totally in limbo) make you leave and head to the map to find something elsewhere, then head back to the original hidden object scene to complete a hidden item. You run around enough in this game. You don't need to run around to complete a hidden object segment.
I'm still playing only because I payed for this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This will be a very short but sweet review. There's really nothing here you haven't seen before gamewise, but the presentation is wonderful. The graphics (art) are painterly with pronounced but soft color. A look I can't recall recently. And you get a map and a walk through...and a bonus chapter, all in the basic non collector game. Great value, great game. Grab it.
I recommend this game!

Let me start by saying after playing more than a hundred games of this genre, it seems the developers are running out of ideas. Keys, fire and kettle's, wire cutters, hammers that are missing handles, shovels...well you all know the drill. Given that, I myself look for great atmospheric graphics and good cut scenes If I'm going hunting for the same old. I mean, at this stage what else is there (occasionally you get something original like Cadenza).
You can see where I'm heading. Maybe you feel the same. If I'm going thru the drill, at least make my journey a bit spectacular.
Norwich Caves kind of looks good at the beginning before it turns into a lot of pastel colored flat lazy art. The old "grab them up front and lay back". Coffee anyone?
I don't recommend this game.
