I should have known after the glitches in the first level, then freezing 3 times and crashing my computer in level 10 that this game would be a problem. I bought it anyway :( and now it keeps freezing at the same spot on level 30. Such a shame as I was really enjoying the game otherwise.
I liked the 1st installment of this game better. The food etc on this one pops up in different spots and sometimes they end up hidden behind things. The buildings and workers are slow, even with the upgrades (settings - metabuildings) so most of the time towards the end of each level is spent waiting for a building to produce enough goods to finish.

I'm loving this game so far! Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the first two chapters. I played them in a couple of minutes and thought wow, this game will be over quick. My demo ended in chapter 4, where I'd barely scratched the surface of the level after 30 minutes! The 3D graphics were really interesting and there's so much to see and do. Much more challenging and interesting than the usual TM games.

So here we are on 21 Jan and there is still no fix for level 28 and the racoons. I wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing the game. Other than that, I was enjoying the game.

This is a fairly challenging TM game, once you get past the first few levels. Pretty standard stuff - build sawmill, farm, etc. I got to level 9 during the trial, so I purchased the game as I was enjoying it so much! I'm not sure it's worth the CE price though, especially since you can't access the guide from the game levels, and there's not really anything else special. Some levels you need to plan carefully, as there are only a set amount of certain resources available.

I'm really enjoying this game so far! There are plenty of puzzles to get the old brain working. There are some occasional hidden things to find, but not like a hidden object game. I'm up to Chapter 3, and the puzzles seem to get a little more challenging as the game progresses. Graphics are good. No glaring purples and blues, which makes a nice change from some of the previous offerings!

This game was a big improvement on the last couple. My biggest peeve however is that there is no multiclick option, and I found waiting for them to finish a task before clicking on the next one tedious and a waste of time.
I lasted 10 minutes on the trial. The graphics were soft, the villagers so tiny. I couldn't get rid of the instructions, and huge arrows popped up and blocked what I was supposed to be doing. I couldn't access anything unless I followed instructions. Couldn't find a help/settings menu anywhere. It's nothing like the original games.

This was an interesting game at first. There was a bit too much back and forward for my liking, because you had to open the control panel to do anything. I found my way to the lab and engine room at the bottom, where there is a desk to save your game. To exit the game, click ESC. Not sure if this works before you save. A help guide/walkthrough would be handy for when you get stuck (which I did after about 40 min).
This is reminiscent of the very first MCF games...all HOS and no real story. I enjoyed them back then, but then they evolved into the more creepy, challenging puzzle/adventure games we came to love. I would have enjoyed this 10 years ago, but now it's like a major step backwards. All HOS, no story, which is ok if that's what you're into, but for me it was extremely boring.
