MCF have really gone downhill, but I keep holding out hope it'll go back its previous fabulousness. Usually I buy these automatically, but the last few I've regretted it. This time I tried out the demo first, and this is the first MCF game EVER that I haven't bought. Not worth the money. There was nothing about this game that inspired me to want to continue play after the demo.
I enjoyed the game but level 19 and 30 are impossible to complete the challenges. You have to serve a certain amount of customers, but the game doesn't offer enough customers to complete that challenge. Annoying. Hence the 4 star rating.
I have all the previous Rescue Team games and normally buy them w/o trying them. I didn't this one and boy am I glad. I tried, not once, but twice to play this pita game. It was like a job. No satisfaction in accomplishing levels. No fun. Just a lot of work. If you enjoy the other Rescue games, don't buy this one because, except for the name, they're nothing alike.
I've loved Every Rescue Team Game EXCEPT This One AWFUL

I've bought all the others. Usually without trying them out first. This one I decided to go the sample route and I'm glad I did. It is awful. I tried twice to get it, but it just feel like a job instead of a game. All work and no fun. I'm so glad I didn't automatically buy this one like I have in the past. I'll keep that in mind for the next one that comes out. I can only hope this game isn't a sign of things to come in Rescue Team. Huge disappointment. Huge

This supposed to be a time management game yet you can't get Sally to move faster than a frigging stroll. So frustrating and mind numbingly dull. I miss the old Sally games. What happened to those? They were great. This? Not even a little. The story. WHO CARES? When I want to read a story I open a book. When I want to play a time management game I want action! I want movement. I want speed. None of which you'll get in this game. Zzzzzzzzzzz
I've loved these Mystery Case File games for years. Couldn't wait until they came out with a new one, which I'd buy right away without a trial. If this is an example of the direction they're heading in, I won't be doing that again. Boring, no story, graphics are comical. Repetitious scenes and puzzles. Little to no challenge.

Every year I look forward to Mystery Case Files newest release and I've never been disappointed... till this year. What a let down. The first Dire Grove was great! I replayed the game in preparation for the second but it only served to highlight the differences in the quality of the game, visuals, puzzles and sound. Totally bummed. I'll still look forward to this years release, I just hope it's more reminiscent of previous years and not Sacred Grove.
