This is a terrific game, the best of the Puppet Show series. The collectors edition gives you all the puppet dolls to collect, an interesting extra chapter plus extra hidden object scenes and mini games. This series has a look and feel all its own, and has been my favourite series at Big Fish. Weird, fun, and challenging, this is the game (and series) to beat!
Someone has stolen two powerful magic doves from your kingdom, and the consequences could be disastrous. Embark on an extraordinary journey to stop the thief.

This review is based on the demo. What a beautiful game! You really have to play the demo to appreciate how lovely it is. As far as the gameplay goes, I really liked the customisable hint and skip recharge times (why don't they all have this?) and loved the idea of 2 helpers, which you get to name yourself. Even if you are not a fan of games with elves and fairies, try this one...you'll love it!

While catching up on some older games, I played this first sequel in the Echoes of the Past series. It plays well, has a nice challenge level, and is a worthy sequel. My only problem with it (and the first) is that the hints only apply to the HO scenes, and the "?" button just gives general info, rather than pointing out areas or items of interest. Good game, not great!

I just played the demo of this game, and I was thrilled with it! It is visually stunning, with intricately drawn scenes. I was hooked by the fabulous and menacing ghost dragon...not a cute dragon, but a black and fire spewing one! This game has a dark theme and is drawn to match. I love games that pay attention to detail, and this one does it all the way...beautiful curser, collectibles and achievements, numerous game play options, and even the x to close some areas has interesting movement. The sound is good and eerie, but there are some whimsical elements in the game to take the edge off a little. I tend to like Elephant games, and this time I would say they have a real winner!

This game has some fun features such as interesting characters and a good look, but it is short, you collect aces in each scene for no real reason, and sometimes you have to click on an item a number of times before you can pick up. That said, it did have its fun moments and as a free game, I recommend it, but not good enough to pay for.

I'm wending my way through some of the older games, and this one is a joy to play! Well drawn, good challenge level, non-frightening, and fun, and manages to not be sickly sweet even though it has magical creatures. Great game to play in between the scary ones!!

I'm late to this game, but having played another one in this series I decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed both the story and gameplay, and the graphics and atmosphere suited the story perfectly. I particularly liked the way the extra content was set up, as you have to finish the bonus chapter before you can access the other extras, including a copy of the original Poe story you can download to your pc!

If I was going to recommend a game for a new player, this might be the one! It's fun, well drawn, not gory or violent and has a good challenge level. I thought it might feel a bit dated by now, but it played just fine, and I'm about to start the sequel.

I'm late catching on to this series, but better late than never! This is an almost perfect game...amazing story, wonderful graphics and characters I'm happy to spend more time with. Dark without being gory or depressing, it hits just the right tone. Can't wait to play the next installment!

I wanted to like this game more than I did. It opened well with the back story of a girl losing her mother, but soon segued into woodland creatures and 'hobbit-y' things. I tired of the demo half way through. I may get it for a free game sometime, as I really enjoyed the scene that runs over the main menu page...you skim above a river and fields and it is quite a nice experience. Unfortunately, it seems to be quite average after that.
