Very disappointed. I love the first one in France. It's my go to when I just want to relax. But this one is visually very unappealing. The icons are simply ugly. As far as I'm concerned, they messed up, big time. But there's always hope for another.
Enjoy a journey filled with thrills, chills, and puzzles!

This developer put out one of my top ten favorites of all time (Pahelika} many years ago. It's very sad to see they've downgraded their games to dismal match 3's. I love match 3's but this one is so simplistic and frankly annoying. What happened Ironcode?
I don't recommend this game.
Take a trip to see the inspiring sights of Brazil!

I don't know why I bother to check in every day. Today's offering is the same as most everything they've put out in at least a year. I keep looking and hoping to find another Pahelika, or the first two Azadas. Something to make you think. But alas, not today.
I don't recommend this game.
Help Angelo collect the resources he needs to build his palace of wonder in The Trials of Olympus!

I am so disappointed. The story line while excellent, is the only thing worth while. The game boards are just plain ugly. Some of the tiles are too close in color and hard to differetiate between each other, They are also too small and blurry. I love m3's, but this is a no buy for me.Seriously disappointed!
I don't recommend this game.

I haven't written in a very long time, simply because there hasn't been anything worth writing about. But this one, is a game changer. You actually have to use your brain in this one. For instance, you pick up an invetory item, and you have no clue what to do with it. In HOPA you know exactly what to do with everything you find, it's just a matter of location.The only hints you get in this game only give you clues to find the things you need,and thankfully it's not easy. I finished replaying Pahelika just two days ago, and was wishing for more like it. I feel like the cosmos was listening, and now I hope BF is. Pleese BF, bring us more!!!

Boring boring boring. Unfortunately it's just another game in a long line of boring. There is no thinking involved and the music is, well, boring. I've given it 3 stars because it IS beautiful and will be good for beginners

Hey Fishies, whats say we all chip in and buy Gunnar games some crayons. Whose ridiculous idea was it to make each chapter one color? After checking the walkthrough to count the HOS scenes (too many, no buy) I was shocked to see just how ugly this game is. The look of a game is just as important to me as anything else. There are no voice overs so you feel very alone. The music is okay, but the gameplay is same ole same ole therefore quite boring. So there is obviously no fun factor for me. I didn't get too far (the boring factor) but the challenge wasn't there either. I am truly dissappointed in todays offering. Definite no buy!
I don't recommend this game.
Upon arriving in a strange city, you find the citizens ready to burn Menes at the stake in Ghost Towns: The Cats of Ulthar!

Except for the storyline (which IS new and interesting) you could play any of a hundred other games and not miss a thing when playing this one. The graphics are either terrible or just not my style. I suspect it's somewhere in the middle. Without voice overs it's way to quiet, except of course for the annoying cat meow every few seconds. And how about that. If these cats are suppose to be mean, then why are they meowing so sweetly? Just a thought. Anyway, there just isn't anything remarkable about this game. Replay an old one that you liked, you'll have more fun!

This is so great. Finally a game that makes you think. After the silliness of the last two days and all the same oh heres a screwdriver what will I do with that, its very nice to actually have to figure things out. The graphics are good the sound appropriately unobtrusive, and the gameplay...outstanding.The gameplay reminds me very much of Pahalika. (anyone remember that one)? One of my all time favs as I'm sure this one will also be.
I recommend this game!
Use a mystical locket to explore a magical world and save a young girl in Otherworld: Spring of Shadows!

Well I'm in quite a conundrum. I promised myself no more CE's, but Boomzap went and did it again From everyones comments about color I knew it had to be them. They use color like no one else, which is why they are by far, my favorite developer. I also think they have the BEST voice overs, and this one is no different. As everyone has said the puzzles are new and fun,and as usual, lots of them. Some on the easy side, some not so much. The graphics are exceptional, and the gameplay, well, as I said, fun, fun, fun!!! So I'm going to have to hurt my feelings and break a promise and buy it .The only reason I'm hesitant in the first place, is when it comes out as a SE, it will be a sad day, knowing I've already played it. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you Boomzap, keep them coming !!
