My review is based on the demo.
I really enjoy this type of solitaire - the one-up-or-down type, with Fairway Solitaire being my absolute favorite. This compares well with that classic game. Instead of being on a golf course, however, you are fleeing for your life from zombies. At the beginning of each chapter, you have to find play a little, easy mini-game, and then you play several levels of the card game to move on. There are power-up cards that you earn as well as extra cards that you uncover. You can also purchase these cards with the gold coins you earn throughout the level.
I certainly had fun playing the game, and will probably buy it. However, I do have two nits to pick. First, there is no 'back' button so that if you miss a play, you can't go back and fix it. Secondly, when you reach the last card in the deck, if it doesn't have a play, the level ends not giving you a chance to use one or more of your extra cards to complete the round. For this reason I had to take away one star. But, as I said, all-in-all a fun game.
I recommend this game!

I had the opportunity to beta test this game just a few days ago, and loved it, so I'm very glad to see it offered up so quickly.
This is a chain instead of match 3, and with each level you have different goals to meet in order to get gems that allow you to buy extra time to complete the levels. As you progress, you can also earn bombs that help you complete your levels.
For me, this is a definite buy, and I'm looking forward to hours of addictive fun.
I recommend this game!

Oddly enough, just yesterday I was looking for a new solitaire game as I've been in the mood for cards, and I've played the games I already own to death. I downloaded and demoed several different games, but none really interested me, so when I saw this as the TMT, I was eager to try it.
I was very happy to see that this is exactly what I was looking for. It is the standard play a card one up or one down from the top card in the pile. Since I've been playing on the easy mode, it's not been difficult at all, but I do like the fact that there two additional modes for more of a challenge. You have different goals to reach for each level, and you can buy various tools or abilities to help with the game play as you advance and accumulate cash. I thought the graphics were nice, with large, clear cards. You can choose from a few different card styles, but I found the default style quite charming, and wouldn't want to change it.. I can't comment on the sound quality since I've had to play it with the sound off so as not to disturb anyone around me. There are also a couple mini-games included – Tri-Peaks and Freeplay.
All-in-all, I think if you're looking for a nice relaxing game to unwind or just pass some time, this is a very good choice.
I recommend this game!

I don't know why I didn't demo this game when it first came out, but when I downloaded it to try as the DD, I discovered that I hadn't tried it before. I was glad as it gave me the opportunity to try this game for the full demo time. Turns out I didn't need that much time. I was sold almost immediately. Beautiful graphics, neat storyline - you are a member of a resistance group in ancient China and are shocked to discover that your childhood friend is in fact the true Emperor, and is now sentenced to die by his usurper Uncle.. It is your task to find the Jade Dragon Staff in order to prove his right to the throne. Game play was smooth on my computer - which was such a refreshing change after so many slow-moving, jerky games that have vexed me lately. Colors are bright, and the graphics crisp and clean. Game play is a mixture of hos and frogs, enough of both to keep it interesting. The puzzles range from easy to medium difficulty so far.
I am thoroughly enjoying this game, and the only complaint I can make is that the music became very repetitious after a while. For me, this game was a terrific bargain as the Daily Deal.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game a lot! I didn't much care for the first Vampire Saga game, and in fact, I haven't even finished it though I've had it for ages. Because of that, I didn't even demo the second game, but decided to go ahead and demo this game out of curiosity. I'm glad I did because I've just spent many enjoyable hours off and on today playing this game. The storyline was one I enjoy - I'm a big fan of the spooky storylines - and the gameplay itself was fun. The hint function was very good and filled up almost instantaneously.
And because I enjoyed this game so much, I went ahead and downloaded the demo of the second game and ended up purchasing it too with one of the free coupons I got from last weekend's sale.
I thought the game was well worth the purchase and time spent on it.
I recommend this game!
