Based on the Demo This is a fun little game, with match 2s and match 3s hidden in a junk pile of objects. It was a lot of fun to match the pairs and collect crystals along the way but it's not the hidden object game that I like to play. I would say it is more for Match 3 players, but it was a lot of fun with the bright colored objects and sparkling crystals.
Based on the completed SE game. This game is not just creepy and eerie, it is gory, horrific, and the stuff of nightmares. We loved it. This fast moving hidden object adventure had a nice flow to it. Objectives were very clear. The story line was compelling and intriguing. It didn't take long for the horror to begin. The soundtrack was amazing; it was laid back during some scenes with a lot of surprise screaming and haunting sounds for other scenes. Startling is an understatement. This game is jam packed with fun mini-games and puzzles. The hidden object scenes are interactive list type, silhouette type, and narrative type, many with very well hidden objects. There is so much to do in this game we looked everywhere and checked everything to make sure nothing was missed. This is nightmare material and we loved every second of it. A lot of bang for the buck in this one.
Based on the Demo. This game has everything: great visuals, cool soundtrack with eerie, creepy voiceovers and eerie, creepy music; excellent, fun and challenging hidden object scenes, and lots of puzzles, some of them so challenging I had to skip them. There are morphing objects and collectibles. The well drawn main characters, the protagonists, are very likeable, every one else is not. Every one else is crabby, cranky, and just plain scary. This is the stuff of nightmares. On a creepy scale of 1 to 10, I would give this game a 13, and I'm not kidding. The creep factor was so high that every few minutes I wanted to click "exit", but like watching a fabulous horror movie, I was glued to my seat and had to keep playing to see what happened next. The Demo had a cliffhanger ending and I have to buy it to see what ultimately happens to the heroine and her hero. And to see if I can actually master all the puzzles in this game and find all the morphing objects and and collect all the skulls. Very, very challenging.
Based on the Demo of this SE. This game has it all, from the creepy well drawn graphics, to the spooky and eerie music, to the interactive hidden object scenes and puzzles, including one where the player has to take items off corpses in the family crypt, including slipping a ring off a skeleton finger. It doesn't get much more creepy than that. There is something to do every minute at many locations (all beautifully drawn). We loved everything about this game. It was an immediate buy.
Based on the Demo. This hidden object adventure is the bomb. The scenes and characters are beautifully drawn in vibrant, bright graphics. The storyline is very creative. There is a nice soundtrack with excellent realistic voiceovers. The puzzles were great, many different types. The hidden object scenes were list type, narrative type, and picture type - all of them a lot of fun. There are formulas to use to conjure up weapons and tools. A lot of fun. It was an immediate buy for me. Not being familiar with the series, I have tracked down the 1st and 2nd installments to demo and purchase if they are as good as this one.
Based on the Demo. This was a very fun game, building mosaic pictures. It is the first time I have ever played a game like this although I understand they are very popular. The music was nice; the colors and portraits to be filled in were beautiful, vibrant, and gorgeous. I knew I would buy it because when the trial time was up it had felt like I had played for only a few minutes. It was that much fun. I bought it immediately. It was so much fun.
Based on the Demo In the Bay City tonight there are missing people, kidnappings, and poisoned tattoos. The story line, in addition to being very scary, is fascinating and intriguing. The graphics are super realistic. Characters are well drawn. Inside the lobby of a building in one of the scenes the floors are so dirty that it made my skin crawl to look at them. That's how realistic the graphics are. We loved the sound track. The voice overs were very realistic and matched the characters personalities. The sound effects were phenomenal: lots of creepy and horrific noises. The music was very well done. Hidden Object scenes were also very well done. Some with silhouette clues, some with word clues. One scene was s television broadcast, inside the television screen inside a bar. We really enjoyed it. Puzzles were a lot of fun. Some were easy, some were hard, something for everyone. We had to buy it. Can't wait to complete the game, and can't wait for Chapter Two.
Based on the Demo This SE version is great. The graphics were beautifully done, with interesting well drawn characters and beautiful scenes, most of them, like the story line, creepy and somewhat wicked. The voice overs were realistic, the background music was something one would expect from a Poe story, eerie and creepy and very well done. Hidden object scenes were fun, some of them interactive, some pretty challenging. The puzzles run the gamut, some were very easy, some were impossible for me to finish and I had to skip them, but plan on finishing them in the full version, after I purchase the game when there are no time constraints. After that cliff hanger of an ending in the demo, I have to buy this game. It was fabulous and packed with things to do. Never a dull moment.
Based on the Demo. This hidden object game is fabulous. There are puzzle pieces, collectibles, and morphing objects to find and collect in every scene. The graphics are excellent: bright and vibrant in some scenes, muted and pastel in others. Characters and scenes are beautifully drawn. The soundtrack is fun with great voice overs. It has an excellent and unique storyline that makes the game even more interesting. Beginning in the very first minutes of the game are some really fun puzzles, many of them very challenging. The hidden object scenes were all very well drawn, some with word clues, some with silhouettes. All were fun. There is something for everyone in this game. It was an immediate buy for me.
This game has everything. The visuals were beautiful with vivid colors and extraordinary special effects. The characters and scenes were well drawn and realistic. The animation was very well done. Sound quality was excellent. The voice overs were clear and understandable. The music is fabulous. Hidden object scenes were well done, some of them very different, some interactive, and some just plain fun. Puzzles were okay. It was easy to understand and pursue objectives. The story line is exciting and fascinating. In the opening scene the player has to escape from a prison cell where she is being held for throwing a rock at a Harpie. It doesn't get more creative than that. The game had a nice feel to it; it flowed smoothly and was a pleaure to play. It was an immediate buy for me.
