First - glitches. Lots of them. Even with the Update installed, I was still unable to finish the bonus chapter. Unlocked the sewer or catacomb or whatever that thing in the floor leads to, but it will not let me enter it. When I look at the map to see if I missed anything, there are no "!" anywhere for me to go. Two - Not happy with the quality of this game. I think the developers at Elephant rushed to get this out for Halloween, and didn't work out all the bugs. Three - boring! Been there, done that 5000 times. These HOP games are a dud. Looking for more challenging games like The Room or House of Davinci. Big Fish Games used to be fun and exciting, but now offers nothing more than games for kids. Do not purchase this game. BFG do better!
I don't recommend this game.

This is what all game developers should strive for! 5 chapters took all day to complete. There were styles of games that I've never encountered before. Searching for collection items in every scene was fun. More of this please!! Action, puzzles, HOPs and more!
I love the Grim Tales series, and always look forward to a new edition. Richard is gone, he told us in the last one that it was time for him to move on, so we have Mom as a helper this time. She's not as entertaining as Richard, the dark comedy is gone, and we're left with boring old Mom.
I finished this game in less than 3 hours hours. I even took a break to go get coffee and a sandwich, check the mail, and answer a few phone calls from work - still took me less than 3 hours. That includes playing the Bonus Chapter.
I also hate the new feature that stops you at the end of the Demo and makes you "reactivate" the rest of the game. Playing, playing, hit the breaks! I purchased the full version, so I have to Reactivate, then wait to download, download, download, install, then play. Just give me the full game when I pay for it! What gives??
HOPs were designed well, but fairly easy. Same with the puzzles. Puzzle pieces and collectibles were way too easy to find, and there were less than usual. No challenge.
Designers need to spend a little more time on their games and make them worth paying for. This one was way too short. I was looking forward to spending my day off playing this edition, but instead I am looking for something else to fill my day. Guess I'm off to Lowe's!
I recommend this game for Beginners, not for Advanced players.
This game and it's prequel were totally different in style than other HOPs. You have to share items between characters and remembering who needs what is part of the challenge. Good HOPs and mini games. Enjoyed both games. Hoping there will be a 3rd installment!
This type of HOG is terrible! Boring! Just a bunch of old characters and old HOPs cut and pasted into a new game. No story line. No excitement. Just a bunch of HOGs over and over with a few boring mini games. Definitely not worthy of Collectors Edition status. Glad I only tried the demo. And even then, I trashed it after the first few rounds. Stop making this style game!! I will NEVER pay for this style!
This is a repeat of existing HOPs and puzzles from old games I've already purchased. This is basically one big cut-and-paste. Very disappointing. Looking for something to do during my one day off this week, and I just wasted my $ on this crud. Don't do this ever again, Domini! If you can't come up with original material, then just quit and go back to the drawing board. Don't recycle old crap and slap a CE on it and ask for $. This was a ripoff.
I have loved all of the MCFs, and was VERY excited that a new one was finally out and this one had a lot of promise, but it was so very short! I felt like I was playing the beta version. I couldn't believe when it was over after just a few mini chapters. A lot like Dire Grove. Wish it was more like Ravenhearst. For $14 I want to be able to play a bit longer... Good quality game overall, but because it was so short I'm going to have to flunk this one. Very disappointed.
Seriously! I thought this was part of the 1000 Doors Series, so I immediately bought it without looking at reviews. This is CHEATING! All you did was take old HOPs and Mini Games from previous, existing games and throw them into a new game. You even reused the old characters. I've already played all of these in their original games! This is like hobbling together and plagiarizing a term paper verbatim from 5 other students. CHEATERS! You should be expelled for this!

This one tried to make Match 3 exciting, but lost me after 3 levels. The icons were tiny, and it was just the same, over and over again. And the bonuses were never required. The mini game of firing canons at the other ship is poorly timed. The power slider continues to slide long after you click the Fire button, so getting accurate shots is impossible. Tried the free trial, and deleted the game after 3 levels.
The game idea was pretty good - not many western themes in games these days. Nice to have something new. Was enjoying the game for the most part until I got to the skeleton puzzle. Solved the puzzle and then it wouldn't let me pick up the 2 items in the chest. Impossible to move on without them. Uninstalled, reinstalled, still can't get past the skeleton. I would normally recommend this game, but due to the fact that I cannot move forward I'm giving it the thumbs down.
