I admit, when I play a game I want some challenge, beautiful graphics and sound options. I want customizable hint and skip options, I want sound that doesn't either make you want to slap yourself silly or snore, and this game delivered all those!
Not only does it have game play that is not frustrating, it also has an interactive map, reliable game play that really does remember where you left off, and all this runs smooth as a top.
Life is frustrating enough, I don't need my games to be as well. There were puzzles, and exploring and mystery!
LOVE this game, wish there were more like it!
I recommend this game!

The game showed promise with the graphics and music. The hint and skip buttons were about like most other games; slow to charge. And, I did need them several times through the parts I actually got to play. I say that because there is a hidden object scene that wouldn’t let me get one of the objects it required. I even broke down and went to the strategy guide and it clearly shown that where I’d been clicking was in fact the object that I’d been trying to retrieve. At that point it drew an untimely end to my game playing because without completely the HOS I wouldn’t have something that I needed to complete the game. Until this glitch is fixed, I wouldn’t recommend you spending your money on this game. The glitch happened over half way through the game too, so just the demo wouldn’t have revealed the problem. I also noticed the game seem to be very precise, the order that you did some things had to be exact, which I found restricting.
I don't recommend this game.

The game ran very smoothly, no glitches, the graphics were nice and the music wasn’t annoying at all. The hint button on the relaxed play was as I wish all of them were, very fast to charge. As was the skip button on the games. This game had the map, had things labeled correctly and was a refreshingly designed game. So many of these styles of game can be frustrating to play because of lack of maps, lack of things being mislabeled etc… That was not the case with this game at all. LOVED IT!
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game! While it didn’t have what I would call a new storyline, it had one of the types I enjoy, and it was easy to follow. The graphics were nice; there were a few rough patches but nothing negative. The game play was lengthy, and the hints were most helpful and they charged at a nice speed which was nice. You do have to wait for your hint to charge even if you’re stuck and need to know which way to go, but because they don’t take long at all to charge, this isn’t a big deal.
The game did not have a map, which really wasn’t needed but is always nice in these games.
Another feature I liked about the game was the skip button on the puzzles didn’t take long to charge at all. There are some puzzles I just do not care for in most of these games and prefer to skip them so it’s always nice when the button’s charge at a fast pace.
The game had lots of puzzles and lots of hidden object scenes which added to the enjoyment along the way.
You have a choice between two types of game play; casual or advanced.
The bonus content that is found in the collector’s edition has extra game play, wallpaper, screensaver, concept art and music.
Overall, very nice indeed; I enjoy this game.
I recommend this game!

I don’t know if it’s my system, or the actual game, but one of the two seem to have a problem with this game. I had a problem the first time I played the game, and had it again as I replayed it to write this review. It gets to a point and then freezes and I get a critical error message and have to shut the game down.
Otherwise, if you have no system troubles, the game is fun. In fact, this game is very fun.
The graphics are crisp and clear, the sound is relaxing and the storyline is easy to follow.
The hints are helpful not only for the hidden object scenes but also for general game play. But, they do take a bit to charge, and the skip button on the puzzles takes a while as well. You can skip cut scenes after a bit into the scene which is great too.
The bonus section has music, movies, hidden object game play, puzzle game play, extra play, screen saver, wallpaper, and concept art.
The game play is available at three different levels; casual, advanced, and hardcore.
Now, the downside, other than the error message I get, is that the game has no map of any kind and once again, this game is one that a map would be helpful.
Otherwise, yes, I highly recommend this game. It could be my system that is causing it to have the problems and not have anything to do with the game itself.
I recommend this game!

As I wrote in my review of Maestro Music of Death Collector’s Edition these games are loaded with hidden object scenes and lots and lots of puzzles, so if you’re big into puzzles then you will love this game.
The story line picks up where the Maestro Music of Death left off, but it’s not necessary for you to play the other one first but it does lend a bit more of understanding to this game.
The game play was long, as was the bonus. The quality of the graphics wasn’t constant and bounced between pretty good to poor.
The music wasn’t bad; hints seemed to be slow to charge and if you asked for a hint during the game play and not a hidden object scene you were given the standard “nothing to do in this area message. The skip button seemed very slow also to charge, so if I encountered a problem solving a puzzle, and I did, I just had to step away for a while to allow it to charge. But despite the hint and skip button issues and the fact that the game also doesn’t contain a map which would have really added to the game play, the game was still pretty good. There is also one puzzle that seemed not to even have a skip feature, so it really pays to buy the collector’s edition, had I not have had it then I would have been stuck and not able to finish the game.
I recommend this game!

The storyline of this game was nice and easy to follow. The game play was long, and loaded with puzzles, hunting for solutions to the puzzles and hidden object scenes.
The graphics were okay, nothing spectacular, even a little blurry in some areas. The hint buttons charged at a rather slow pace, as did the skip buttons for the puzzles.
The extras that come with the collector’s edition include wallpaper, screensaver, concept art and additional game play.
The additional game play was long and of the same quality as the game itself.
The things that I felt would have enhanced the game play would have been at least a map, preferably an interactive map so you would have to keep back tracking, and the ability to skip the cut scenes.
Over all, it was a fun game and I would play it again.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game, the graphics were pretty well done, and the story line was clear and easily followed. The game offers four modes of game play; casual, advanced, hardcore and detective modes. It also contains a wonderful interactive map that allows you to see where things still need to be done and then click on the spot to be there instead of having to wander around trying to figure where items go or tasks need to be done.
The extra game play contained in the collector’s edition was enjoyable as well as was the wallpapers, concept art, bonus videos and screensaver.
I also enjoyed the help of Elf, and collecting the poker chip looking coins to buy items for him.
The game ran smoothly, was entertaining and offers long game play. While I did have access to the strategy guide I found that I didn’t need it because the map was so helpful.
There are a lot of cut scenes but they can be skipped if you don’t wish to watch them, and the dramatic music seems to pop often which I didn’t really care for, but the music can be adjusted from the menu options of the game so that was no big deal.
I really liked this game.
I recommend this game!

The reason I named this what I did was because I thought this aspect of the game was very creatively designed, and the game had creative bits throughout. The music was very suitable and not nerve wracking, the hints charged pretty fast and the skip button for the mini-games charged at a nice pace. The game play was available in three modes; Hardcore, Advanced, and regular. There were 2 types of hidden object scenes, which ran smoothly. The storyline was interesting and something different which was nice. The bonus section that came with the collector’s edition consisted of wallpaper, replaying the mini-games, walk-through and more game play. The game ran smooth throughout for me, and offered some very nice challenges.
One thing I didn’t like though was the generic statement that you’re given if you find yourself in a bind and click on hint to help you and there wasn’t a map, so you once again, as so many times are found to wander around trying to figure out where something went and what to do next.
The graphics were okay, some were very clear and some were rather blurry.
Overall, the game was fun with a nice amount of game play and the extras in the collector’s edition were nice as well.
I recommend this game!

I found this game to have a rather nice storyline, and it adhered to the story line taking you through twists and head scratching turns, but sticking to the storyline nevertheless. The graphics went from pretty good to so-so in places to downright blurry in others. The game didn’t feature a map, which would have been a very nice addition, but thankfully the hint feature would direct you in a general direction for more game play. The puzzles had skip buttons, and the game did feature a camera and a flash light. I particularly enjoyed the flash light feature because some of the hidden object scenes did have a rather dark shadow cast on them, and the flash light helped make them more enjoyable.
The “extras” that came with the collector’s edition were video’s, wallpapers, walk-through and concept art. If there was extra play, I didn’t see any.
The negative points for me concerning the game were; very slow charge on game skips, some swear words (I could have done without them), and I got almost all the way through the game and the screen went dark, all except for the mouse arrow. I listened, no sound started up, and I waited until I realized the game had stopped working. I closed out the game, and opened it back up again to finish the game. I realize there are lots of reasons that can happen, but I thought I would mention the glitch. My machine works fine and I’ve not had any problems prior or since.
Do I recommend this game? Yes, it is fun and lengthy.
I recommend this game!
